For the second challenge they asked at their fans to made a video. In this video they should make as much sound as possible. Of course many people made a video which created funny images. As compensation the players of our national football team played a football match playing 3 against 3 wearing sumo wrestling suits. This created a funny video which the fans enjoyed enormous. For the third challenge they asked at their fans to open their houses and invite people to come over and watched the Red Devils together. This was a big success so the Red Devils had to do something in return. They made a video were they guided us around in their stadium. Just click the below to watch it.
The purpose of this is to get some media attention but also to create a unique feeling between the fans. Other people who see the video maybe want to experience this unique feeling and become fan of The Red Devils. This is good for our national team because when you feel that the fans our supporting you they will perform better.
Hello my name is Kevin Meert and I am 19 years old. I live in Sint-Kwintens-Lennik, it is a little village next to the capital of Belgium, Brussels. I study marketing at the Arteveldehogeschool in Gent.
For our course of English we have to make a blog about something that interest us. Since I was a little boy I liked football a lot. When I was 6 years old I started playing football by a local team. I have played for that team till I was 16 years old. At that age I started working in a local store so I couldn't play any matches on Saturday anymore.
I wanted to have some money so I stopped playing football. For my blog I have chosen to talk about The Red Devils because i like football a lot and almost everybody who lives in Belgium is a big fan of them.
But not only the football side of the Red Devils excites me, also the marketing side behind it. For example when the Red Devils went to the European Championship Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike produced a song. So when people were listening to the radio and they hear this song they should automatically think about The Red Devils. The purpose of this is to make sure that a maximum of people were supporting our national team.
The Belgium national football team is a team of footballers representing Belgium since 1904 in international competitions. The Belgian Team is nicknamed the Red Devils which was invented by Pierre Walckiers in 1906. Our northern neighbors are our biggest rival, they are called the Dutch team. The majority of home games are played at the Koning Boudewijn Stadium in Brussels.
The coach is Roberto Martinez and the captain Eden Hazard. Vincent Kompany was the captain of the team since 2011 till 2015, but he is injured now so Eden Hazard is replacing him.
