Red Caps are goblin leaders who are distinguishable by their hats which are red as the result of being soaked in the blood of their enemies, earning them their names. A Red Cap by the name of Wormrat served as Mulgarath's general. In the film he is simply called Red Cap. Red Cap is known to be very dominant, brave and smart above all of the goblin army, but is still a cowardly, stupid lackey to his master, Mulgarath the Ogre, and always getting abused by him whenever he fails his tasks. Despite being abused physically and emotionally, Red Cap does not rebel against Mulgarath for fear of punishments, and always remain loyal to him, even if it means of being afraid of him.
