Kid Rock, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Carlos Santana and Gavin Rossdale have been booked to perform at the upcoming 2010 American Music Awards.
The additions to the ceremony’s lineup were announced Thursday by Dick Clark Productions President Orly Adelson.
The artists join previously announced acts such as the Backstreet Boys & New Kids on the Block, Rihanna, Diddy-Dirty Money, Ne-Yo, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher.
Additional announcements, including this year’s presenters, are expected to be made soon, the program’s producers said.
The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Nov. 21 on ABC.
“The AMAs has always been about the best music of the year and our lineup truly reflects the talented artists that have made 2010 so special,” AMA producer Larry Klein said in a statement.

According to a headline in In Touch about Miley Cyrus, the actress-singer is “Partying Her Troubles Away.”
The tab goes on to write, “Reeling from the shock of her parents’ divorce announcement,” and having been spotted drinking a beer in Spain, her friends have now begun to “worry that the ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ singer could be the next teen star casualty.”
How so?
In Touch clearly doesn’t know because not once after stating that does the tab give a single example of her “partying” or anything that would make her friends concerned she’s going to be the “next teen casualty in Hollywood.”

It's been a time of family upheaval for MileyCyrus, whose parents are divorcing. But she sees her upcoming 18th birthday as a chance to get her whole family to spend time together again.
"I'm not going to go crazy – [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family," the pop star, whose birthday is Nov. 23, told MTV Sunday before the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid. "That would be really cool. I think we need time to all be together."
She doesn't have a place picked out, but is leaning toward some fun in the sun.
