Once there was a beautiful bird
Flying around from tree tot tree
And high as she can
But she had a long way behind
And was searching for a place to rest
Once there was a guy with a beautiful garden
And on a sunny day the bird flew over
She saw the garden, like a paradise
And took a rest
Once a guy saw the bird
And asked her to stay
And promised all she wants
In a cage of gold
Once there was a beautiful bird
Locked in a golden cage and had all she wants
But she felt so alone
There was no one to share
Once the guy said Ill buy you a little one
And youll never be alone again
And youll be happy as can be
And the little one whistles the most beautiful songs,
In the golden cage
Once there was a little sparrow
Who flew through the window
And sat down next to the golden cage
And the birds became friends
Once there was a crow as dark as night
And flew through the window
He saw the cage and wanted everything within
And said fly with me but he was too dark for this bird
Once there was a beautiful bird
With a cage sometimes open and
She wanted to spread her wings
So she did, but always came back
Because her wings werent as strong as can be
Once there was a magpie
And flew trough the window
He said he was a friend and asked fly with me
He took everything he can, everywhere
And flew through the window, alone again
But every day, theres still the little sparrow
Right next to the golden cage
And wait, till the wings of the beautiful bird
Are as strong as can be
And fly right next to her when she's ready, to help her, in harmony
