OPENING MESSAGE
Hello Folks
Today July 2 at 20h00 I start this blog. No big intentions for it, only to give the viewer and the poor people staying behind in Europe an impression what we are doing during the trip. It is way to stay in contact with everyone; and experience of last year learned it is a lot of fun too. At the same time I will have a trip report when I return.
What are we going to do? Well the intentions are to visit the cities New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Nashville (Grand Ole Opry), Charleston, Savannah and Miami Also we will visit some National Parks: Shenandoah (Skyline Drive), Great Smoky Mountains, Everglades and perhaps when time and money is available the most remote of all NP's ==> DRY TORTUGAS We will also stay a couple of days at Key West. Keep fingers crossed that there will be not some kind of tropical cyclone during that period. In Naples we will try to act as the millionaires (which we are NOT) and are going definitely to play some golf. Special day will be Monday July 28, when Jurgen and myself will rent a Harley motorbike and take a one day trip in preparation of next year's ROUTE 66 Trip (well ... let's hope for that)
Whoever reads this, please react now and then on this BLOG. It is frustrating not to get any feedback, I am curious to all you have to say. The more fun you bring into the texts the better. I will also try to add "PICTURE OF THE DAY". It should represent the highlight of that specific day.
One last thing about language ... I start in English, when only ractions come in Dutch I will change my language accordingly.
