Ingredients
1 kg of firm-boiling
potatoes
2 cloves
of garlic
125 ml
cream
125 ml
milk
125 g
grated cheese
fresh
thyme
Recipe
Preheat the
oven to 165°C.
Peel the
potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
Grease the
baking dish with butter. Arrange the potatoes in the bowl. Finely chop the
garlic and divide between the potatoes.
Mix the
milk and cream in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the potato
slices. Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover the
gratin with aluminum foil. Bake in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes.
After 30
minutes, remove the aluminum foil and cook for another 30 minutes.
