Before Updating,you need prepare following things :
1.A NDSL/NDSi/3DS Console
2.Another flashcard
For NDSL : ( Note : Using the patch: V143_Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds )
1.Download the latest WOOD R4 firmware and unzip it to the root directory of your tf card;
2.Copy V143_Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds to your tf card;
3.You should get a NDSL;
4.Just power your NDSL on and boot up V143_Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds with A card;
5.Take A card out of the NDSL;
6.Reinsert your broken R4i Gold 3DS card into the NDSL;
7.Press KEY_A and the updating process will begin;
8.You should keep your NDSL powered on during the updating process;
9.If the result shows SUCCESS, it means you have updated your R4i Gold 3DS successfully and this card can work on
For NDSi V1.4.3 and 3DS 2.1.0-3 : ( Using the patch: V143_Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSi.nds )

How to install Wood r4 kernel?
For different flashcard, the files inside Wood R4 kernel are different. But the installation process are very similar:
1. Download latest Wood R4 V1.34 patch to the computer.
2. Unzip the patch, you can get some files.
For R4 DS card is 2 files: "_rpg" and "_DS_MENU" .
For R4i Gold is 3 files: "_rpg" , "_DS_MENU" and " WOODR4.NDS" .
3. Connect the MicroSD card to the computer through a MicroSD reader.
4. Copy all files to the root directoy of the TF card, new files will cover old files automatically.
The Acekard 2i team released a new fix for the Acekard and you can now safely update your DSi v1.4.3 after your Acekard 2i is re-flashed.the ak2i official join the list of DSi V1.4.3 supporting.
3. Please choose update file according to your console.

how did r4i-sdhc card work on my dsi v1.4.3 perfectly?
1.A NDS/DSi that below v1.4.3 ( if you have updated your console firmware before updating your card,then you have to prepare a NDS/DSi that below v1.4.3 to flash your card first,otherwise,r4i-sdhc can't work on the latest dsi firmware).
1.Download r4i V1.4.3b in its official and unzip it,open the folder and cope the folder files to your TF card.
2.Insert TF card into your r4i-sdhc cassette and put them together into your dsi.
3.boot your dsi.
After booted,you will see this icon : " SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis THQ"
That's the icon before you flashed your card,after you succeeded flashing your card,you will see "Miami Nights 3D Ubisoft" icons,just like following picture :
4.Press key "A" to enter R4i-SDHC GUI
then pls follow the guide of below picture : ( Choos the third one icon press Upgradestart)
After you press "start",you will begin to update your card ( note,during the udpate,please don't turn off your console )
Reboot your dsi after the process of updating finished,if you have flash successfully,after reboot,you will see the icon of "Miami Nights 3D Ubisoft".
