All is going well, eating good 3 x a day kibbles & then still mom!! At the end of the week 4 x a day. they drink water also, play now, a bit longer then before!!
I hope that they can go outside sometime soon, but the weather has been soooooo bad and soooo much rain, that they are not old enough for that.
this weekend another de-worming !
I hope to do some car rides soon also!!!
There is still 1 male available, they will be tested wednesday Sept. 17, so nothing is decided yet!!
Some new general pictures. This weekend they are going into the living area, where they will be exposed to the normal household noises, and dogs, people, kids etc.
They have have their first taste of some porridge to learn to lick instead of suck!!
Pups are two weeks today!! Mom & pups are dewormed today, nails clipped again & tails trimmed!!!!!
Eyes are open & they can run pretty fast through the whelping box!!
I did give them an extra bottle ,so Gibbs could have a break, she seemed tired & they took it eagerly!!
3 more days of the neuroligcal stimulation program & then in a few days they will go into the living room and will get their stimulation from all the normal household noises & visiting people and also the other dogs!!
At the end of next week already a couple of meals of solid food & hopefully summer will return so we can spend some time outside!!!
While doing the stimulation program I decided to make some headshots from puppers. Not a perfect background, but I was glad I could get some done while holding them.!!!
Already almost a week old!! All is going way too fast.
Their nails were too long, so cut 6 x 18 little nails on wiggly pups, but all went well and they are doing good with the stimulation program, some protest, when i hold them with their head down for 3 seconds, but that is ok!!
made some pictures of Ms Orange who went into hiding and the rest of them also
A poster of Child towards Dog behaviour and visa versa!!!
Some more laying down pictures of today, but they did get their collars put on and all fit good, actually I had to make them a little larger
There is not much change in picture taking yet, but putting them on any way!!
Purple is now a bright blue collar & for the rest they are the same!!
They gained their weight again today, so that is very good!!
I also started their neurological stimulation program, what that means , you can scroll down and read about it. It would not let me put the pictures on, but if you google it, it will explain & show you. I will do this for 14 days & by then they have their eyes and ears open and can begin with other stimulation from the outside world.
Puppies are doing great all have gained weight since birth and are moving around a lot!!!! Unfortunatly I cannot put videos on the blog, but I am on Facebook under my name, so maybe you can look me up!!!
Well the main object is set up, the whelping box,the lamp will go up and all the other needed things are also set up, so now we relax , get some pre-sleep & hope for a speedy daytime birth of a bunch of puppies.
Some nice pictures of an open class win of Clockburn Clyde!!!!
Ok today we went to my vet for a last check up etc.
He did an fun ultrasound for me to show the heartbeats ect.
Well it was even hard to make a picture as they were moving around all the time!!!
Well that is why they are "working dogs"
Where the arrow is that is the heart beating and if you really look close, you can see the 4 chambers.
He thought she looked good & he will see us or we will see him next week!!
The cold wet tea towel is still doing it's job!!
