I wonder if this has ever happened to you: You're making a positive change in your life, it could be starting a new exercise routine, eating more healthfully and losing weight, or even starting a new business venture or a new relationship. Things are going well. You're committed and excited. Then all of a sudden you feel anxious, ashamed or unworthy. Your energy drops and now this new, positive change doesn't feel possible anymore. What's really going on? Isn't following your heart supposed to feel good? You know you want to make this positive change. You know that it's for your highest and best. But you begin to wonder whether this is the right time, because whenever you try to move forward you feel drained and deflated. Well, did you know that you can inherit negative feelings and emotions -- and these ancestral patterns and emotions can sabotage your best intentions? Just like you can inherit your great aunt's red hair or your father's brown eyes, emotional traits get passed down from one generation to the next. You can unconsciously take on your great-grandfather's depression or your mother's shame, your uncle's anxiety, or your great-great grandmother's hopelessness. Here's the thing: Whenever you take on these feelings as your own, you unconsciously feel that you are being loyal to your family system. That your place in your tribe is secure. To stop feeling these negative emotions means risking abandonment and being banished. Now I know that this doesn't make any logical sense. Because if you're like most people your family does want you to be happy and successful. But the fact is, on the unconscious level there's this thing called the family conscience that limits what you can comfortably achieve.Apple 9L0-623 practice test And every time you try to move beyond this limit you start to feel these ugly emotions. Think about it. How many times has it taken you forever to finish a project because you just can't seem to get started? Or you start something but things don't work out and you don't reach your end goal? How many times have you settled for less? Or how many times have you been so disconnected from your passion that you don't even know what you want? Chances are there was an inherited emotion holding you back and keeping you safe within your family's "acceptable" limits of prosperity, happiness, well-being and success. But the good news is that it doesn't have to be an either/or situation. You can free yourself from these inherited emotions and at the same time move forward with confidenceTB0-116. And what's more, when you give back an inherited emotion your whole family benefits: You honor your ancestors and give them back their dignity, while at the same time you liberate yourself. If this makes sense to you then you'll want to learn how you can free yourself from the inherited feelings that you carry out of loyalty to your family, parents and ancestors.
Have you ever encountered people in your life where you open yourself freely to them and give to them generously and they do not appreciate what you have shared with not even a word of Thanks? I am sure many of you have had this experience. How did you feel when that happened? Were you angry? Resentful? Did you feel used and taken for granted? I think the first reaction for most people would be resentment, followed by a feeling of a victim of being used. How did you then combat these negative feelings that you know are unhealthy for you? I could easily tell you, well, it is their loss not yours; Don't sweat over small stuff; When they do not appreciate you and what you give, they are not receiving; and so on. But of course you may still feel angry and resentful and what I have said here does not really help. So the next question I would like to ask you is this: Why do we get so angry and resentful when other people do not appreciate our generosity? What is it that is making us move out of our peace? I would like to offer a new perspective on this. I mean, besides the understanding that we have a need to be recognized, a need to control how other people should behave and how we are not exercising our own will -- these being the underlying reasons why we get resentful, I would like to offer a different perspective. I think a part of us, deep down, feels that when a person does not appreciate what we give or say thank you, we feel like they have killed the cycle of abundance for us. This is just a feeling of course and not exactly how itApple 9L0-510 practice test is happening. When we are in a mood to give, when we are generous we feel an outpouring of energies from us to them, and when the receiving party does not appreciate we feel they have put a block to this outpouring and they have short-circuited the flow. We get angry because we feel they have controlled and stopped our flow. The thing is, we must remember that WE are in charge of our own abundance flow, not other people and least of all, not people who do not have the capacity to appreciate. When we start to get resentful, in truth we are the ones who have stopped our own abundance flow! We cannot manifest abundance with this state of mind. In fact we must say within our hearts to the other party: thank you for showing me that I am still in the flow of my abundance even though you cannot/will not be part of it. Thank you for showing me how powerful I am. So what happens when we do say thank you? We feel our power, and we KNOW our power of abundance. And nothing will block us from receiving what the Universe/God is giving to us. Your Assignment This Week: Keep track of everything that happens, positive or TB0-111perceived negative things. And give thanks for the good fortune and the learning experiences. Remember, when you feel the thanks and gratitude in your heart you are allowing yourself to vibrate these feelings outwards making your whole being a living prayer - a magnet of abundance.
Every child has been asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. And more often than not, they had responded with "doctor," or "lawyer," or "movie star." It would always be some stereotype of success. It would always be something that was prevalent in both school books and popular media. Did you describe your dream life the same way when you were young? Don't be ashamed if you have; it's not your fault this information has been drilled into you from the start. However, this doesn't mean that you should conform to such ideals. So what if that's what your parents or teachers wanted of you? Is that really what you want for yourself? You have your own unique perspective on life and the world you live in. The best life you could possibly live, then, is something you conjured up in your own mind. What do other people have to do with it? So, ask yourself: what really is your dream life anyway? What does it look like? Chances are, it incorporates the elements of life you personally enjoy the most. It is a life that you maintain entirely on your own terms, one that you have complete control over. It is the kind of existence where your success depends on doing the things you love, and nothing else. Still stumped? Think long and hard. If you had the chance to do only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be? Forget your current obligations. Don't take yourApple 9L0-619 practice test job, finances, or family into consideration. Whatever that thing is, be it cooking haute cuisine or building houses by hand, that is your dream life. That is what you should be pursuing. Do you really want to waste away your precious time on Earth with your crappy job? When you feel that you should be doing something other than what you're doing now, then why don't you do it? There is no reason for you to stunt your growth as a person. There is no reason for you to stick to lame excuses. You know they're lame to begin with! A man who slaves away day and night for a job he hates but still takes home millions of dollars is not a success. A man who makes the same income with a career he loves is the true success. By pursuing your dream life, you can be the latter man. What's stopping you, then? Now that you know what your true goals are, you should go out there and fulfill them. Now that you have a better understanding of what your priorities should be,TB0-115 then the next step should be to avoid procrastination. The best life is an active life. There is no fairy godmother out there who can help you kick things off. In fact, you are your very own fairy godmother, and you have all the power in the world to make your wish come true. No matter the situation, you can only earn true success if you were responsible for your actions from the very beginning.
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude." -Cynthia Ozick In the hustle and bustle of everyday life we sometimes take things for granted. We're so busy getting ready for work, getting theApple 9L0-621 practice test kids ready for school, making dinner, making plans, paying the bills, looking for money to pay the bills, working all day and doing this and that and everything else that's on our "To Do" list just to get through the days, weeks and months. Unless you excel in time management and you're so organized you could become a day planner you probably collapse into bed at night thinking of all the things that didn't get done and that have now just been added to the bottom of your list of things to do. You may even have a "Things to Worry About" list. Not only do you have things to do, you also have things to think about that mentally weigh you down and consume your precious thoughts that take you away from thinking about ALL of the things you have in your life to be thankful for. This is exactly how we end up taking for granted all of the wonderful gifts we've been blessed with. The list of things we take for granted is much longer than we realize since we are too busy to think about how lucky we are in so many ways and on so many levels. I could list all of them for you but you wouldn't have time to read this blog so I'll recap them instead. Here are just some of the things we take for granted: Our families: Husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, our children, grandparents and anyone who you actually like that you're related to (just kidding). Think of the people you love the most! And, add in your friends who are like an extended family. Our health: This list is so long but here are just a few. The fact that you can see, walk, talk, and hear. (Well sometimes we don't!) The ability to do things for yourself. The power of your mind. Your arms and legs, hands and feet. And on and on and on and on. Our favorite things: These go in the category ranging from your home, cars, clothes, food, furniture, toys and any and all possessions that make you happy. Not forgetting things like your favorite ice cream, a roaring fireplace, going to watch your favorite team, watching a great movie, taking a walk etc. etc. etc. Nature: OMG I can't even begin to make a list here. Rainbows, leaves changing, snow falling, the sounds of nature, the beauty of nature and all of its abundance. Make a list yourself. So, how do you stop yourself from taking all of these wonderful and varied pleasures for granted? You do this by imagining what your life would be like if they were gone. Think about how you would feel if you could no longer talk to someone you love or experience something you love. And then, think about how truly fortunate you are that you have so much in your life to be happy about so that you can begin to appreciate everything and everyone. All of your "Things To Do and Worry About" lists will still be there but don't take for granted the things that matter the most, because life is always changing and NOW is the time to embrace all of the big andTB0-108 little gifts that surround you. Don't get so caught up in your hectic life and your rambling mind that you forget to take 5 minutes to stop and reflect upon your blessings. We are all on a never ending adventure through life but if you don't enjoy the journey you're missing out on the essence of the trip and all of the pleasure along the way. Slow down, take a breath and open your eyes and really look at all that you may be missing that's right in front of you. By truly appreciating what life is offering you is the ultimate in saying, "Thank you!"
"So often time it happens, we all live our life in chains, and we never even know we have the key. - The Eagles, "All Ready Gone" I spoke with 2 different people this week and both of these men were telling me about injustices they had experienced in the past and how they hated the person, going on and on about how rotten they were and they can't stand to think of them. And, one incident happened 30 years ago in high school no less and the other 10 years ago. Now that is what I call holding onto negative energy that does absolutely nothing but weigh you down. It keeps you locked prisoner in a self-inflicted torture chamber by holding onto animosity, anger and hatred. Interestingly, I also ran into a women this week who I hadn't seen in at least 10 years who was so rude to me one night and classless about the way she went about attacking me in front of a small group of friends, that I justifiably could have snubbed her and made her feel bad. Particularly, since she walked into a venue that was on my turf so to speak. I instantly thought about how unfair she had been and in a split second I had to decide how I was going to react to her. I was nice. I thought, she is the one who has to live with what she did, people make mistakes and what good would it do for me to embarrass her or try and make her feel bad? Plus, I thought why would I put myself on her level, just let bygones be bygones. Holding onto negative feelings toward someone for something they did to you is not worth your precious time. It's you that suffers. It's you that carries the past hurts around like rotten garbage that you won't throw out. And, you are the only one who can choose whether to hold onto it longer or release yourself from the weight of the past. You can almost pick out the people who won't let go, they are typically miserable. They are definitely negative and they lack a joy for life that shows up in their faces, their health andApple 9L0-620 practice test their overall attitude towards life. The worst part of it is they are doing this to themselves and they do this by the very thoughts and words they use to think about it, describe it to others and by choosing not to let it go. For some people this seems to be so foreign to them - the fact that it's them that is doing this to themselves and they feel they don't have a choice in the matter. They simply feel like this because of what happened! The truth is they simply feel this way because they continue to feed themselves all of the sour, nasty, hateful thoughts they can think of and wallow in their past misery. When you learn to forgive others it is you that benefits. You free yourself from holding onto the past and you lighten your mental load. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. When you start down that negative path, conjuring up what they did and how it made you feel, simply say, "I bless them and release them." If you can't bear to say you bless them, just say, "I release them." When bad things happen to you and they do to everyone, don't be one of those people who allow it to ruin your life, be the one who knows that injustices, heartache and pain are unavoidable in life and it's 100% up to you as to how you are going to handle it when it does happen. You have the power to choose at any time, this very minute, to let TB0-109go of the past and begin to enjoy your life again. So lighten your load by releasing all of the pent up anger and hurt feelings and move on to living the kind of life you deserve; one filled with laughter, peace and good times. It really is your choice!
What Conscious Discipline Is All About And How You Can Use It To Your Advantage
Conscious discipline can be defined as an approach to address behavior that is multidisciplinary. It is different from behavioral approaches that target specific behaviors and presents a neurodevelopmental model of the brain which is an adaptation from the works of various people including Bruce Perry, Allan Schore, Daniel Siegel, Joseph LeDoux, Alexander Luria, Louis Cozolino and Paul MacLean. A disciplined brain state model shows us and enables us to understand better the state of the internal brain-body that most often lead to some specific behaviors both in children and ourselves. We use this awareness to consciously direct our own thoughts as well as emotions. Once we are able to do that, we are then able to teach our children to manage their own thoughts. Experience and research have shown that our internal emotional states usually dictate behavior. For instance, if we are particularly happy about something, we tend to show generosity and thoughtfulness towards others. If we are hungry, we tend to over shop by buying things on impulse. When our children displease us, we react more or less like our parents did when they were displeased with us. By studying the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model, we are able to see this process and we get to know how to change it. Our internal emotional state makes us to react by drawing upon some inbuilt skills. For instance, when we encounter an experience that is a threat to our survival, we react by using the skills of flight, fight or surrender. This skill is used in many other instances that may not really threaten our existence, but experiences where we are face provocation of any kind. The survival Apple 9L0-402 practice teststate can only be soothed through safety. In the same way, when things do not go our way, an emotional state is triggered whereby we may have a limited perspective of another person's point of view. We find our reaction matching that of the key authority figures that we experienced in our childhood including the kind of way that we were disciplined, regardless of the fact that it may have been hurtful or ineffective. The emotional state can only be soothed by the creation of connection. On the other hand, we can learn to control and integrate our own internal state to make it one of relaxed alertness. This way, we can assess our own brilliance as well as transform and make wise decisions. We can also be free from past conditioning and connect to other people's feelings and experiences. We are also able to be focused sufficiently to set and reach our goals and also consciously respond to life events rather than to react automatically. Problem-solving and learning It is thereforeTB0-110 important to learn what conscious discipline is all about and how you can use it to your advantage. It is possible to manage one's thoughts, actions and feelings using these practical skills and teach our children as well. Conscious discipline can especially help our children use these skills and be face life's situations in a composed and rational manner.
THE GOAL OF LIFE for the saved person is learning for the next life - a state of perfection we will achieve, and now is the time to trial for such a milieu. One of the best ways of learning is via observation, because it's not our mistakes we are learning from, but from others' successes and mistakes and everything else. Indeed, everything is free for us as we open our eyes. We get a fuller view of life as we stand at a slight distance, taking in all we can possibly discern. It's both a vital learning vehicle and an interest - because our focus takes us in millions of stimulating directions; all without leaving our minds. TURNING FROM BOREDOM TO THE STIMULATION OF INSIGHT One of the commonest problems we all face is situations where life is neither difficult nor fascinating. The common experience is ho-hum. But if we switch our focus from our wanton desire to be stimulated over to the practice of stimulating ourselves, through what we see, we experience the enlightenment of the Lord, for all this is revealed for us, simply, uniquely, for our sight alone. For, we're the only ones that see the way we do. And the Lord has destined these insights for our learning. We may typically find other people strange, warm, onerous, irritating, peaceable, attractive, chatty, stubborn, pleasant, in-our-face, withdrawn etc - a thousand different facets of perception abound. The Lord has placed each one in our midst to be learned from. BECOMING A DISCOVERER OF LIFE Boredom and complaint are common temptations Apple 9L0-509 practice testof the distractive variety - they take us, and our mental and emotional resources, away from God's abiding Presence. They make us fixate on those things that we were always destined to pass over. At all stimuli of boredom and complaint there is present a godlier stimulus. But we can only see it as we approach even the most banal situations in life with renewed interest - that of the early discoverer. Discoverers are curious. Their curiosity takes them into the relatively unknown vestiges of the mind, and from there the heart is activated whenever plenteous new things are found. Wonder flourishes. The great thing TB0-112about other people is, because they are so different to us, they will shed the discoverer's light on life - not by what they do or say, but by what we see in what they do and say. There is a mix here in our pure observation and our perception of the observation. *** There is a discoverer in each of us and the world stands for us as our profiteer. This is the real-life, not the one of acquisition, petty complaint, or boredom. As we commit to being a discoverer, wonder is ours for the taking.
I hope that when you decide to jump off the diving board and into the personal branding pool, you are prepared to swim in the deep end. From my experience, the lifeguard is often unavailable when you find yourself struggling to keep your head above water. In my case, it was incumbent upon me to faux swim or at least doggie paddle with dignity. When I began, I was inundated with wonderful success stories and tips of how to market myself, my brand, my services etc... Well boy oh boy was I unprepared to deal with feedback from the market. I did what I was told and expected champagne, strawberries, revenue and many loving and adoring fans. Have I ever told you that I can be a bit naive and a tad bit idealistic? I joined LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and every other social media platform known to man. I then proceeded to share my voice with anyone on the planet. Guess what? No one was listening. I knew what to do but had no clue how to do it effectively. Much worse, I was unprepared and unwilling to receive any feedback that was incongruent with how I saw myself. I soon realized how challenging it was to differentiate your brand. I was not prepared to deal with the reality of my situation.Apple 9L0-403 practice test Like the Japanese proverb, "Fall seven times, stand up eight," I often felt like one of Mike Tyson's opponents from the early 80's. I kept getting up dazed, bruised and unsure of what to do once on my feet. Fortunately, I learned some valuable lessons along the way that helped me survive but thrive. Like a prizefighter, I had to learn how to take a punch from my critics. On a side note, I never realized that learning could be so painful at certain points! Tip: Be prepared for some "pushback" about you, your experience, your product or service(s), and any other random objection you might hear from potential clients. While getting dressed each morning, be sure to put on your (emotional) bulletproof vest because you are going to take a few shots. I just hope that they are not fatal! Take some time to enjoy the ride because it TB0-113will certainly feel like one at times. The magic happens on the other side when you continue to push forward. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, so stay focused, keep grinding and do not quit! It is about progress not perfection!

WIND ENERGY HARNESSING AND WIND RECORDERS The wind is produced from the earth and it moves in consonance with the rotation of the earth and the movement of the seas and oceans. Harnessing the wind to produce energy and electricity is a daunting task and requires a level of technical skill and precision. The wind changes direction arbitrarily and so any device made to harness its energy must also be able to adjust to the changes in direction of it in order to capture enough to achieve objectives. To commence a wind energy harnessing endeavor, one has to determine the areas where there is preponderance of wind. Researchers have observed that wind recorders placed on hill tops, riverbanks, sea coasts and open fields indicated a higher preponderance of wind than in another areas. Wind recorders were placed in the aforementioned areas and graphs were produced fluctuations of wind in the areas for a given year considered as a cycle. To improve accuracy, recordings were extended for one more year and a model on which to base designs and calculations and deductions was built. After the wind recorders have been placed for two years and data captured properly on graphs, the next step will be to produce the required number of wind mills to provide the necessary megawatts of electricity based on the recorded preponderance of the wind. The most important activity prior to the installation of wind mills, in the opinion of researchers, is the determination of the preponderance of wind in the area and these can only be ascertained with the aid of wind recorders.9L0-620 practice test The wind recorders must be installed for such a length of time, that it would have been able to record a full cycle of the wind in such an area. With this initial information, the objectives of the endeavor will certainly be realized. Wind mills are made from light and robust materials both for the blades and shaft and they must be securely fastened to the ground so that all the wind reaches the blades rather than having a part of the wind oscillating a loosely fastened stem. In the production of electricity, the wind mill output terminals must be connected to chemical cells or batteries and all other connections to consumers are made from the batteries. That is the cables for electricity connections should not be directly to the wind mill terminals because the wind mills do not rotate continuously and therefore cannot produce electricity continuously but an array of windmills can be connected to a given battery cell and the aggregate electricity generated may be harnessed. The advantage the 250-400wind system is that it can be installed successfully in any country of the world provided there are isolated hill tops and beaches. Also the infrastructure for harnessing the wind is very cost effective and the wind system is neither capital intensive or labor intensive in the construction and maintenance and it is very sustainable since there will continue to be wind. It however requires a very large area to produce an appreciable amount of electricity.
There are two groups of people is this world: the "have not's" and the "have's". Now before I get to the groups, first I should define two other terms, which are "needs" and "wants". Now simply put, "needs" are necessities and "wants" are luxuries. In today's society, where obsession to material objects is skyrocketing, people often confuse the meaning of these two words. Even though they are perishable, these worldly possessions are associated with power, prestige, class, status etc. Once it's putrefied, the possessor is miserable. All the power and prestige is vanished with it. On the other hand, the intangible things like happiness, wisdom and love are given less importance, even though the effect of their absence is so much more devastating. Now let us see how "have not's" and "have's" are associated with "needs" and "wants". The first group, the "have not's", consists of people who are not able to function adequately because of the lack of basic necessities or "needs". Most of these people don't really know what it means to live freely without any stress because they are fighting to live every moment. They cannot even imagine about "wants" because they constantly have to worry about not a roof over their head, or not having enough food or clean water to feed their newborn. The other group, the "haves" are fortunate enough to have everything, but in spite of that they constantly snivel about having more; things that they do not really need to survive. They are never content with what they have. They often forget that want is a desire that can be easily fulfilled by appreciating life's 9L0-402 practice testeach moment and showing gratitude for what one has. We do not need an expensive handbag to enjoy life, smile or to have friends. If we decide to give a tangible object so much power as to letting it decide our mood and our relationships, then we have some thinking to do. Accepting that we do not need so much clothes, expensive jewelry and perfume to look good, would not only give our credit card some time to breathe but it will also allow us to check our attitude towards our self and re determine our priorities. Thus, to conclude, I would like to say that each of us will find happiness by giving love which is the purpose of everyone's existence. Money cannot buy happiness. Nothing can buy happiness, for it exists within us. It is within each of us. The moment find our inner happiness, the whole 250-401world is going to make a lot more sense. Power does not come from wealth, for wealth will come and go, true power, a power that is not depended on money, comes from love and wisdom.
Trainers often say with great sincerity at the beginning of their programs that "There are no stupid questions." Despite this clear encouragement and invitation, some learners are still hesitant to ask a question that will let others know they are having difficulty. This is a shame, because a learner's lack of understanding is rarely a personal failure. It can just as easily be attributed to the trainer, the training content and/or the training techniques. Learning is not a race where the person who understands first wins. The primary focus of any training program is to help all learners ultimately be successful. If a learner doesn't let the trainer know there is a problem, the trainer will never realize there is a need to reteach the content and the learner will remain frustrated. When learners are willing to admit that they don't understand a concept or technique, everyone benefits: the individual, the trainer and the other learners in the workshop. There are many reasons why asking for help is the best thing to do: 1. It's honest. 2. It indicates the learner's sense of ownership and commitment to learning. 3. It shows that the learner wants to understand. 4. It means that the learners have seriously tried to work it through by themselves and come to a dead end. 5. It reflects the learner's degree of comfort with and trust in the trainer. 6. It gives the trainer important feedback. 79L0-403 practice test. It puts a spotlight on key learning stumbling blocks. 8. It challenges the trainer to focus on alternative ways to deliver the information. 9. It forces the learning down to a real rather than a theoretical level. 10. It requires the trainer to dig deeper to discover more useful testples. 11. It frees the learner and trainer to try again. 12. It benefits those who were similarly confused but uncomfortable asking for help. 13. It encourages teamwork as co-learners try to help each other better understand. 14. It increases the likelihood of successful learning outcomes. 15. It paves the way for a real sense of accomplishment 250-223once understanding is achieved. 16. It enriches the learning process for everyone. So, trainers, make sure to encourage your learners to let you know as soon as possible when they are having difficulty. And learners, please recognize and admit when you need help. The trainer and your co-learners will appreciate and benefit from your honesty.
I have had a crazy, busy, happy few weeks in my business lately - and I'm still on a roll. I know that can be seen as one of the benefits of being an entrepreneur - setting your own schedule! I spent many years in the corporate world No one in my family had been self-employed so this was quite the leap for me. THE 'UP' SIDE! I set my own schedule - which I love, especially since I live closer to my 88-year old mother now and can plan time with her as I choose. I choose my clients - I can determine the number of people I want to work with, the quality of the people I work with, and when I want to work with them. I can plan my own vision, values, mission statement - goals and objectives - and align my work accordingly. I determine my revenue targets for the year (month, week, day) and course correct when things may not be going according to (my) plan. I live my passion and purpose, each and every day. It is so rewarding to know I am making a difference in people's lives in a very tangible, 'real-time' way. I don't need to buy as many expensive suits - because I'm not in the same office, with the same people, day in and day out. I set my own budget for travel for professional development - and get to go to many fabulous places that I would not otherwise experience. I give myself a raise when I know I have more value to offer my clients. I declare my birthday a statutory holiday and celebrate accordingly. "I'm the boss - I make my own rules" to quote my friend, Marg (who is sitting here with me at the cottage).
THE 'DOWN' SIDE! I set my own schedule - and, at times, work very, very, very long hours and days. I need to find clients - each and every day. The marketing DU0-001 practice testnever ends. I can plan my own vision - goals - objectives - and it's a constant stretch to ensure I am always becoming my best and delivering my best. I determine my revenue targets - and need to be out there, each and every day, 'making the bacon'. I'm 'it' - no one else to depend on. Staying passionate about the work I do - when, in reality, it's often challenging explaining to people exactly what it is I really do (especially to family: ) ). Avoiding the tendency to work as the 'lone ranger' - doing everything myself. We know that doesn't work. Setting my own travel budget and ensuring my on-going commitment to professional development each and every year. The 'fear' that can creep into my mind when it comes times to raise my fees - that old negative self-talk can often re-appear and 250-510sometimes get in the way when I want to grow my business. No 'down side' to declaring my birthday a holiday! I am the boss - the buck stops here. That's a huge responsibility.
As you can see, there are 2 sides to every story and situation. It does take 'action'! There is one thing that I know for sure So, are there 'up's and down's" to being an entrepreneur?
How much more effective are you at getting projects finalized and your work cleared down in the few days before you're due to go on vacation? You know that you need to get a report handed in, make a particular phone call, or pass certain tasks to colleagues to advance a project BEFORE you leave; you push yourself and make sure it's all organized, knowing you'll relax all the better on vacation knowing it's dealt with. Can you imagine what the working world would be like if we were like that all the time? We'd be unstoppable! Now, for most of us, if we're honest with ourselves, we know that we're not. Therefore, we need to understand what it was that was different in the run-up to the vacation. You had tasks which had to be done, both for work and on a personal level. You'd made your list, and you had the all-important deadline. That deadline was absolute - sadly, planes do not wait because one of the passengers is still in the office! Your goal in this case isn't the tasks on your list, it's the perfect relaxing vacation you've been planning and saving for! The same kind of energy exists outside of your working life - when you're planning a party or maybe arranging a wedding anniversary surprise. Not only do you have a clear goal, such as the look on your partner's face or a great party where everyone has a good time, but you also have an absolute deadline which you set when you send the invitations out! Without these absolute deadlines, we don't reach, we just 'do'. We have our routines and we stick rigidly to them - they control us, rather than the other way around! A fun, exciting way to reverse this and take charge of your own routine is to create some new goals; ones that you know you'll love achieving. What do 9L0-623 practice examyou really want to do before you're 40? Before you're 50? By Christmas? What have you always fancied doing, but never gotten around to? Whether it's learning to make the perfect soufflé, sky-diving or learning to belly-dance, we all have goals at the back of our minds. In order for goals to be as energizing as that pre-vacation clear-up, they have to be clear in your own mind. I like to challenge my coaching clients to think of a goal as a destination. If you don't have a map and don't know where you're going, how do you know when you've arrived? An example challenge is to decide where you're going--A weekend in Vermont or Vegas? Once you've decided where you're going, then it's time to plan the details. What's your budget, and how will you stick to it? Are you taking the train, flying or driving? When are you going and who is coming with you? The difference between the vast majority of people and those who are truly successful can be as simple as having selected the destination. In addition, they not only know where they're going, but they've set the date. If you don't put that 'line in the sand' and buy the tickets, you may never get there. Deadlines give your goals the energy you need to get them done, and they bring them to life. The energy pulls you towards your goal, gets you excited about reaching it and allows you to enjoy the journey you take to get there. It becomes a positive force in your life. There's an ancient Chinese proverb, which states that a journey of 100 miles begins, and ends, ST0-94Xwith a single step. Journeys without a clear destination are no fun - if you're constantly looking for where you think you ought to be going, you don't get the chance to enjoy the view! So, plan your destination, and give yourself a new goal. Then give it a deadline, and feel the positive pre-vacation energy carry you there!
Even people with no training - Happiness is uplifting, sadness drags you down... Ask anyone to draw lines that reflect happiness and lines that reflect sadness: in most cases, the 'happy' lines will beascending descending - Visual symbols talk to you... Symbols have an innate emotional charge that people pick up on subconsciously. Concluding tests have been done with two forms that have been universal symbols for thousands of years: the swastika and the infinity symbol. Before the Nazis adopted the swastika The infinity symbol When people are given random words and asked to associate them with either the swastika symbol or the infinity symbol, they invariably make the right associations: words such as arrow red acid heat fire aggression words such as soft blue sweet roses love tepid water
- When the psyche erupts... Handwriting can also contain a single clue that acts like a time warp, changing the perspective you get on a person because it's like an eruption by the psyche trying to be heard. The case of the dissociated 'k' The dissociated 'k' - a letter 'k' with the buckle divorced from the stem - is an interesting example of psychic eruption. Normally it's the product of two types of emotional charge: emotional sufferingcaused by physical separation from a loved one (you might find it in the writings of a parent whose child disappeared, never to be seen again) existential suffering (such as a priest might experience when tempted to leave the priesthood, or someone carrying a heavy secret).
This type of emotional suffering where the emotion is kept under wraps can erupt and shout for recognition by warping a single letter - the letter k. I came across the dissociated 'k' in a profile I did for a woman journalist. All I knew about this woman9L0-510 practice exam had led me to assume that she was happy. She was very maternal and had five children to prove it. They all lived with her and she spoke of them fondly. She had remarried two years previously and had commented on what a sexual tornado it had been... So what did the dissociated k stem refer to in her life? When I pointed the dissociation out to her, she was dumbfounded. She then told me that her new husband had put on thirty kilos in the past year and had taken to smoking forty cigars a day. That included puffing in the bedroom, and she was a non-smoker! The couple was now sleeping in separate bedrooms, no longer made love and was barely on speaking terms. The happy marriage was a semblance... and the dissociated k stem was the psyche's way of expressing the woman's feeling of having been left stranded with a broken dream. - When affect interferes Give random subjects three pieces of blank paper and ask them to write on one 'I', on another 'my father' and on the third 'my mother': if the relationship toward one or the other parent is heavily skewed affectively, it will show up in what they've written and an untrained person will pick up on it. - Your signature is your store front Your signature is how you want others to see you. But no matter how you try to control your signature and dictate to it, it always reveals your most basic tendencies. It unmasks you in so many ways - by its very simplicity or by its embellishments, by the way you circle it, underline it or stab right through it, by the space you leave between your first name initials and your surname, etc. A signature alone doesn't tell the whole story about you, because how it differs fromST0-91X your normal writing completes the tale. Everywhere within our life, evidence regarding the individual desire to be entertained can be found. Children playing portable computer games inside waiting rooms, car video players on for the duration of small journeys around the neighborhood, and men and women looking at mobile phones and transmitting text messages may be found everywhere in our lives. We all possess instant access to facts and all of us count on the information to be obtainable within a moment's notice. Waiting around for information is an idea which makes people annoyed. Being lost with no navigation, thinking about a darkening sky without the luxury of being able to check the weather with your phone, and having to deal with that same cell phone suffer a loss of power in the car just as you near the destination and get ready to text a final update on your arrival time are inconveniences in our life that merely didn't exist years ago. Time has now sped up so much that just waiting around 10 minutes to hear back from a friend or seek out data online can seem like an eternity. Examination results from math and science now show that young people in overseas nations outperform those from western civilization on computation and other mathematical tasks. Empirical evidence demonstrates that students coming from Asian countries and some parts of Europe possess the advantage in computational talents, as numerous American kids are inclined to grab a calculator even for simple calculations. One huge reason for this is the inescapable fact that the fast-paced culture these students live in puts such an emphasis on immediate gratification. The problem begins in the house. Parents live lifestyles which can be so fast-paced that there is very little time remaining to permit children to play freely and solve problems independently. Families seem to be constantly rushing around in between jobs, daily meals, not to mention activities and don't insist on going slower to grant kids time to explore and go over whatever they observe in the world about them. All these factors explain why why young people have trouble focusing9L0-619 practice exam when they think. More and more of today's kids tackle problems as though there is a limited degree of consideration to spent before moving on to another one. Once a problem is judged to be difficult, it is hard for them to prevent their mind from shutting off. Then the very next day in class, these same students might choose to copy answers in lieu of asking the teacher for assistance. Once this cycle is repeated, a student's exposure to the whole body of material is full of gaps. In mathematics, these gaps bring about hesitance to take on tricky problems as well as a limited capacity to do more difficult computational steps. Compound all these gaps of information across a long period of learning and the student might come to the conclusion that they just aren't capable at math. The obvious way to avoid math anxiety may be to constantly put hard work into learning the subject matter of the day. This method decreases any prospective holes in understanding the information. Most everything throughout the globe progresses in a very quick pace, though mathematical accomplishment demands a student to be able to slow down and really consider the ideas. Confidence in math The world moves at a rapid pace and it is more and more difficult to sift through the distractions. To achieve success in learning, slow down 510-022your own personal pace of life and be patient when learning new material. Remember that not everything will come easy and learning is most effectively done every day. Accomplishing a small goal each day is a great way to put yourself in a position to accomplish your larger goals.
The Coward Dies a Thousand Times, the Brave Man Only Once (Viking Proverb)
People rarely believe me when I say I used to have heaps of Anger, but it's true - so true that it completely obscured some of the other interesting things going on in my head... As Anger spent less and less time living with me it became clear that I had another unwelcome flatmate, far less obvious but equally draining of my resources: Fear. Now, when I was angry people noticed, but because I've always had a more positive can-do attitude than the general average, my Fear is not something that I got(/get?) feedback on. A pity - it would have been handy to know. So what is Fear? How does it manifest? It's certainly an area which has attracted a lot of attention in the world of self-development, and quite rightly so. Now some of you might be saying, oh yes, but what about the awesome popular quote "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway"? As I've written elsewhere, I see this (fairly...) empowering statement as second best. And second best is what you get if you don't aim for best. Best is to realise that you can let go of Fear, and that means to understand what it is, and how it operates. Fear is the belief that something "bad" will, or (more usually) might, happen. And that this is a problem. Sometimes this sort of fear is about something quite likely - if your boss likes shouting at people and you've just stuffed up, what 9L0-621 practice examyou fear is a distinct possibility! Other fears definitely concern stuff in the "better not go outside today - a satellite might land on my head" category. My recommendation is not to chip hopefully away at Fear of Satellite-Induced Head Injury Syndrome, but to jump in at the deep end. Yes it's probably going to happen, yes it'll be a whole heap of unFun, but yes, I have all the resources I need to come through in one piece, probably stronger and happier for it! I frequently visit India. Some people fear India, believing that it's a filthy dirty place full of poor people and beggars, a place where you'll wait for hours (or days) for late trains, be given wrong directions, catch numerous diseases, slip on cow shit, and not be able to get a decent latte. And when people ask me what India is like, I typically tell them exactly that (it's true, after all...) but with a huge smile that says "and that's not something to be worried about, but can be heaps of fun to embrace". And then I usually say "You should 510-702go - it's great!" Which it really really is. Not just because of the bits I didn't mention (architecture food scenery culture people...) but because I know I have the resources needed to deal with the less fun things, and because I believe one of the best favours I can do someone is to encourage them to discover that they do too. Do it anyway, certainly. But scrap the Fear.
Lady Luck and her Coquetry, Why Me??What on Earth did I do to deserve this?? Why always Me? Does Lady luck give you, or someone you know the cold shoulder very often? Have you ever wondered what it takes to stay in her good books, atleast most of the time? Have you ever wondered why some people are just simply "lucky" while others are usually struggling with all the "ill-luck" that can find them. You are probably not alone. Most people often wonder, where and how to covet this elusive lady. But how come Luck is always referred to as a "Lady" or is signified by the feminine. Could it come from the old but cliche phrase "Behind every successful man, there is a woman", or is there more to it then that? Is luck referred to, as a Lady because she is elusive and needs to be chased and pursued lest she find another suitor. Or does it in some way signify the feminine principle. She is Yin. Passive, dark, cold yet ever present. She is fluidic and knows no real Master but only courts her present suitor serving him and serving him well. But she also stands for the preservation of Yin as opposed to the destruction of Yang. Using hindu mythology she can be linked to the Vishnu principle, the God of9L0-620 practice exam Love and Preservation, as opposed to Shiva (Yang), the God of Destruction and Power. Interestingly, according to the Hindu scriptures, the consort of Vishnu is Laxmi or the Goddess of prosperity and abundance. Implying that wherever there is Love and Preservation, Abundance and prosperity is bound to follow. So somewhere in between the lines, could the scriptures hold the key on how to win Lady Luck's heart? Could the Goddess of abundance become a firm friend if we could serve her Master - Love. Interestingly enough, most people will agree that they usually have the worst luck when they are already having a bad day or are angry and irritated. So are they having a bad day because they have had bad luck, or bycreating the underlying feelings and thoughts that constitute a "bad day" they systematically repel good luck and attract her evil step sister instead! A classic case of which came first? The chicken or the egg? On the other hand most people in love, usually 510-888seem to function like powerful luck- attracting-magnets!! Same is usually true for Happy people. Hmmm ... Happy - Go - Lucky, anyone!! "Frequent Anger Begets bad luck", Master Choa Kok Sui.
