Today we played our match in Oudenaarde. On a field with artificial turf, I knew it was an opportunity to play beautiful football. I knew because on artificial turf, there are no wells or bumps.
Again we had some troubles to find enough players for today. But finally I had 8 players for the match and that's enough. We played with Robbe (goalkeeper), Ashley, Wolf, Liam, Luka, Wouter, Mihaly and Malvin.
We could score early in the match and so we had a fast lead. Halfway the score was 2-4. During the third quarter, nobody could score and so the score was still 2-4 before we began the last quarter. In that last quarter, Oudenaarde made it difficult for us. They scored two times and brought the score against into balance: 4-4.
But... 5 minutes before the end of the match, Wouter made the 4-5 in our advantage! So we could this match and that's what we deserved! We played a good match and we won!
Goals were made today by Wolf (2x), Liam, Wouter, Malvin.
The trainer is very happy with this result, up to next week!
I also put a picture at this post: you can see from the left to the right: Robin (trainee), Mihaly, Malvin, Wolf, Wouter and myself above. At the bottom you see Mihaly, Liam, Ashley and Robbe.
After two losing games against Oudenaarde and Gavere-Asper, we played now against SK Ronse. We were very motivated to resume with the feeling of a victory again. And so we did...
We had some problems to find enough players for today, so three younger players helped us out of troubles.
We started the match very good and we were immediately the best team. The result of our way of playing was a 3-1 lead halfway the game. Goals were made by Ashley, Wolf and youngster Liam.
During the second half (third and fourth quarter) we played better and better and we ran out. The match ended on a 9-1 victory for us. Wolf and Liam scored raft. Wolf scored 3 times and youngster Liam did it 4 times. The other goals were from Ashley and Axl.
It was again a very good game and it was also an easy win for us. Good job, boys! The coach is proud!
