Today was our second time we went to the circusschool.
I was already very tired but we decided to go any way.
When we where there Glen was again very sad en crying for his diablo, he realy liked to do it and want to learn more of it. I told him that he can practis now just like me in de school and that when I have time we go by a new one and a better one and that I ga ask in the school how you can see it is a good one.
He try one of them but it was not the same and he can't do the tricks that he could wis his. and then he get very sad. We have talked with him and because he liked it so much and me too I have made a compromis with the person of the school and we may go by one after the lesson at there home a few km further and that night.
Glen was very happy when i told him the news and started to learn furter with the better diablo's. Afer a few moments he started to feel that I was wright and that they go much better.
I have try to do a salto then also, but o my God, nothing for me I am to scared to do it.
I have talked a few moments with the teachers and how we do clowning and that i found it so bad that you here in Belguim have not much chose to learn clowning. She said that it is indeed not so easy special not like we want it. The most are workshops for adults and not for children aloud.
She have asked me then what I do and how I do it and what i want to do with it.
She found it already good that we do it for fun and that I have so much inspiration for acts.
She told me that she will tell me a few things, first I must continue with the circusschool as long as i feld me good with it, even this is a school for kids until jong adults. At this way Glen can play with children and both of us feel us good there. I can help them if there is a problem with Glen.
The next thing that I must do was not listen to what other people say hoe don't feel a clown inside him, we like to do it and Glen enjoy of it so I must go on with it. She saw a short pieces there and said it was already good and wtih do it more it get better and better you must do it with much practising.
And as last I must learn to trust myself an learn my selve again. She know that it is hard for me, but she is going to help me with it so good as she can. Here husband give in this school also lessons but he give in a bigger circusschool real clowning. She have asked him a few things now and he have give me some tips now.
With talking the time go very quick and the lessons was over.
We went with them then to there place and by a lot of stuff. Glen has choosen a red diablo again but the best, and sticks for the diablo like Daniele had with also a better wire. He have also choosen a set of Poi kiwido also with red color. I have then also choosen a new diablo so Glen and me have each our own diablo set. I have got for free a new wire for my sticks.
Glen was so happy with all his stuff, that when he came home he must show it all to his dad.
Today it was just like other years in Belgium open companies day.
We have been going to a hospital to watch different things they do there and Glen had learn how you must put in a katheter by people. Thank God they let him practis on a special thing and not on a human. He was so scared to do it wrong that his handcloves after that short time was full sweat.
We have also go seen at an other place how they make hamburgers, and other meat from the pig and cow. glen had the chance for there of learning how you make a hamburger.
Today Glen was learning diablo tricks and his diablo felt and was broken. He was very sad then. I have promised him that i shell by a new and better one.
Yesterday and today has Glen a lot of pain, the lessons on the circusschool where good and he loved it but all those moves was to much for his sickness
I gived him a lot of pain killers and then it was better. But it is hard for him, he like to do that stuff but he feel now that his body can not have those things.
I have then today further practise on diablo with movies on you tube. But i found it hard to practice and know that Glen can't practice with me now he must stay in his sofa or in his weel shair. Glen said that it was very hard for him and i found it to I have then decided to stop with it and we started talking about the circusschool and what we can do so he has not every week so much pain a few days after the lessons.
It was a very hard conversation for both of us it maked me very sad.I think each day of our friend Daniele Tommasi but now today was it still more. We have then started to look to every movie and picture I have taken of the time then and I tought it go make the sadness less but it helped not much. We still miss that good friend both very hard and the times that he act so good in Bobbejaanland too he have let us every time laugh and forget everyting of Glen his sickness.
Hello I have decided that I go only write in English on this blog from now on, I have another blog where I write in Dutch and go there our happenings of clowning in dutch write.
It was yesterday our first lesson in the circus school. I was frightened actual because i did not know how much people to expect there,or what there would be etc.
After a half hour drive we had reached the place, we did not know the entrance of the sport hall and therefore we chose a side and it became the right side and yes off corse typical for us it was the wrong way we has had stepp all around the sport hall because the entrance was on 10 meters left of the car.
Then we go inside and there we were entertained very pleasantly by the people of Locorotondo. They asked what we want to learn and we said all kinds of round clowning but especially diablo and juggle.
Okay they said come inside look around and you can try out everything you want and if there are problems then we come to help and if you want to ask something you may.
We looked around and waw what a fine things they had there, Valletta was directly on the giant trampline to show what he had at home already learned. And I was examine there diablo's if there was a difference in that of them and which of us. And is yes there was clearly a difference; the one of them where heavier than those of our and the ropes where much shorter.
I tried one of their, Valletta wanted its personal use. It succeeded something improve at me but no 2 sec or he lay already on the ground. I have then asked if that determines a difference and yes the rope length must be correct. That heaviness did much had Daniele also already said us but I did not know that it made so much difference. They have have put valletta his rope on the correct length and a diablo of them and we could practice further.
It was better for Valletta now and we practiced farther but there were other people who did practice with the diablo and with them it seemed easy just liked it looked by Daniele and at our mmmm yes we did it like stupid clowns and missed everytime. Valletta his diablo fly at start up in the air just like here at home and land an end further. And by me went around start up well but then always satisfying spinde hard then or stopped .
The master came and I got it already scared but he went to Valletta and the woman came to me. They have then given Valletta lesson by taking his hands and it this way let him feel how it must. At me she said that I had correct technique but that I starte at the worng way and that give as result that my diablo let spin and stop. I try it out and yes that small difference made a large difference.
Valletta was it already rapidly tired because he does not succeed, he have then just sit and look and then he went again on the trampoline. I have then further sit learning working with the diablo,I have learned yesterday how starting up, how you correct him, how him rapidly spin and eventually how you must throw up and catch him . I learned very fast they said. I said I have got a realy good teacher before our friend Daniel and I think al the time of him and how hi did it and teached us it.
Then I was the diablo also tired and we started juggle with stuff, but goh not simple I became nervously of it. So i stopped. Then have we will try out with Poi Kiwido that was pretty I was Learning it also possible fast and Valletta were possible it also after a wild to do it on his way.
I found to the diablo so I decided then do that again and I am so happy that i can do it so good now on that little time, I look forward at learning to the following things with a diablo, i go look on Internet the following tricks and practice here farder.There were even people who could diablo with 2 spinners on 1 rope, waw finely but still long not to us see that to do
Valletta stopped to and wanted to try out acrobatics and did that then a complete time. This found he terrific. He did it in his way but he had lots of fun. I said that he don't may do it a long time because of its sickness but yes he enjoyed and very frequently rested.
We have remained 2 hours, we have learned as lot of and we have really enjoyed it. We will try go every time. We have also taken a few photo's and movies I takethose of Valletta and he of me clown madre.
