Hilde made zuchini tomato chicken soup, very nice. I made filled zuchinis with rice, Maurice made bread and butter pudding and there where some treats from the Backery! We played rummikub. Nice evening
This is very well worth the visit, it is nicely done in the old buildings, we all agreed, even if some of us don't really like the beer. The others make up for it!!!!
We said goodbey to our lovely holiday cottage and headed for Dublin
I do have a thing for road signs, our first sheep!!!!
Lunch at Athlon, we met a nice young couple there , we had a lovely chat, They where guessing were we came from, they guessed Germany but we where to cheerful!!!!! Guess where they got married.... in Brugge!!!
We took the ferry to the Arran Islands, the first one, Innisheer, only half an hour on the ocean!!! Some of us swore afterwards not to go on a boat for the next year...
The boats were waiting.... so far so good, I'll spare you the details;-)
Lovely and peaceful, are good ways to discribe the Island.

Off course we visited this pub, partly because Bert needed a toilet, partly because it looked good on the outside... Only when we got in the interior disappointed us.

Again on the push bike, on the way we stopped at a frituur/ restaurant to have our dinner. Maurice came along, Marijke stopped in Antwerpen to have a nice evening with her friends. Yes it looks like we did nothing but eat, and that is true. After all that we need some rest, in moeke and vakes garden
We played a few games of rummicub, Marijke came also for a sangria and then it was time to get to bed!
So after breakfast we took our bycicles and headed for Brecht station, Gert and vake did the dishes and came by car. Maurice did not come. We took the train to Antwerp and then Mechelen to have lunch with Marijke
