    Hilde sent me a text this morning asking me if I wanted to come to the exotic market in Antwerp...


    I got dressed and was ready to go with her and Gert.


    The sun was shining it was a nice morning,
    but what to do with all these snacks?


    Invite some friends to share;-)
    Hild, Hilde, Lise, moeke, Marijke.


    All we have left to do now are the dishes;-)

    We went to the royal palace and watched the changing of the guards


    impressive but also a bit funny






    the church on the inside, 
    nice.



    beach time, verrrrry cold!

    the best restaurant in the world, on the outside!



    because we forgot to book, we had to go to the sushi bar;-)


    I am sure it was as nice as Noma


     
    I loved it!

    We heard two flemish ladies, so I asked them where we should go...
    a very old pharmacie,
    beautiful in and out.

    this building and area was also recommended by the ladies,
    weird looking!


    the weather cleared up, it was definitely not as cold as yesterday, yeeay.



    but ice between the rocks


    clear view over the bridge,
    in the middle you go into a tunnel, very special,
    we dived into the sea!

    after solving the logistics and rearranging the furniture 
    we could play a few games of rummikub;-)



    And some of you maybe noticed already Marijkes new scarf!  it is a beauty!
    Here you see model moeke showing it!
    And she does it well, but it is still early in the morning, 
    Marijke was not available yet;-)!

    We had sushi and moeke had a salad,
    you all know sushi so no picture of it(we forgot)
    It was very yummy!


    And soon it is time for dessert!

    Last night we ate Mexican,
    it wasn't too bad;-)


    The company was great!

    the little mermaid! She must be verrrry cold!

    all of a sudden we where surprised by a snow blizzard!
    Very weird!


    look at that cloud, as quick as it came it went again.

    our tiny but very cozy room
    didn't think it would be this tiny though.
    We made a bed for Marijke, so she doesn't have to climb up and has enough leg room.

    Yesterday, we had snow coming from Holland, it started just after lunch.
    and then kept covering Belgium during the afternoon and peek hours.
    We had a traffic jam that covered Belgium 4 times! 1300 km!
    Marijke took the car to go to work, normally it takes her 20 minutes, yesterday over an hour.



    It was after 10 pm before all the jam was uncluttered!


    But does it not look nice?


    Hild, Ils and I took a little walk with Zita in the evening.
