Nieces, Jill and Lise. Lise got a Mentalist dvd, she was so happy Knitting, I missed it a bit,have to start doing it a bit more again, or Hans's scarf will never get finished. 14!
we are in the middle of a coldwave, it's been 4 days now that the temperature hasn't been positive! It will be the same for the coming days and from midnight we get snow again. Salt supplies all over Belgium and the Netherlands as well, are finished... Problem! There will be a cold wind that will feel like - 15! I gues we'll stay in this weekend!
Would you think it is getting colder?? You bet, this week we'll get frost during the day! a nice warm waffle is very welcome then, Hilde and Lise got a Liege waffle Marijke and me a Brussels... hmmm waffles!
Tomorrow, big day at the harmony party all day long. They start at 10 a.m. with visiting the first pub. At 12, we eat stoofvlees and bread, After the delicious meal prepared by my mum and Magda, another 3 or 4 pubs to visit. In the evening everybody goes home to get freshened up and then there is a full meal at 7.30 p.m. and then we can dance.... or just sit, look and talk. That's how it normally goes. Marijke will not come during the day tomorrow, too much schoolwork...
We do have a day off, Rememberence day(?) Maurice and the harmony go the the statue in the town square to play our antem and the last post. Afterwords town hall for a drink... or two.
Chris, our colleague, with plastick bag, made us an outfit out of old workgear and fluo fabric, turned out really cute, we where a great succes! Compliments all day long!
The man on the left, Lu, is on sick leave, he got a liver transplant, Patrick, with hammer, is his replacement, Hein, our third man,was not at work.

Our lunchplace, always nice to catch up. The 2 ladys at the top, Mariette and Mieke, are the ones I see the most, we "do" the same building. Annelies on the left, at the bottom, is my sportshall colleague. We work together on Wednesdays
Art, beatle by Jan Fabre, I like it Chocolate bouquet, I like it We did a guided walk, with a booklet. We had to look for photo's and clues, a nice way to discover a city.
A drink in the sun, I like it We had a nice lunch and then it was time to drive home, get our students ready to get to their dorms... Do the washing and be ready for the workweek, we all had to start on Monday!
