 second 50th birthday celebrations |

Time for our afternoon tea.
Marijke, Jan, Isabelle and Nele prepared our beautiful table and the food.
It was delicious.
Everybody matched my table,
it was a perfect color coordinated day
The sun is out back on the bike then!
Time for a warm drink,
chat some more
and a toilet break.
Hilde and Gert
came to our good hidden picnic spot.
Maurice found us a nice cycling trip,
and a perfect spot to have our lunch,
covered and all so we could sit and eat.
yesterday morning the kliek came to celebrate my 50th.
they all dressed in my colors, I am the odd one out;-)
I loved it!
so time for a groupe photo.
Hild came to help me prepare the wraps and a salad,
at 8! on a sunday morning.

they treated me to nice breakfast.

Blown away,
completely surprised,
so much fun.
off course, my colleagues had 3 weeks to prepare really well.
Although, it seems they started ages ago;-)

So we went to the cards musuem.
without knowing Tim was playing cards at home that are made in Turnhout!
spaghetti carbonara for Tim.
pita for me.
nice glass.
Since we were in the playing cards city(cards are printed in Turnhout)
we tried a local beer each, so we tasted them both.

We had lunch with Zsofi
and what do we have after, dessert of course!
Tim and Zsofi shared pancakes,
Marijke and I a waffle with strawberries.

these very special flowers,
we never saw before,
grew in the herb garden.
Buckwheat pancakes with bacon and pear sirop.
Paulines hair in the sixties.
A huge barn
yeeay, Pauline walked over it without falling of, well done;-)
This is where the pancakes are made out.
We had a quiet day,
learned a bit, and are very happy that we didn't live then!

On Friday we drove to the seaside,
the Belgian coast is nothing compared to the Australian,
but Pauline finds it interesting to see the differences.
