Sad friendship
Fake friends are like shadows. They follow you in the sun, but leave you in the dark. Once best friends, now strangers with memories. I don't even feel like a "friend" to some people. I feel more like an option or someone they run to when they need something. Don't call yourself my true friend when you're never there for me and I must always be there for you. Friendship is like a glass ornament, once it's broken, it can rarely be put back together exactly the same way. A broken friendship can be a comma, or a full stop. You choose. Sometimes you try and ignore the obvious and shield yourself from the blunt truth that some people are truly clueless to how much they hurt you. When you can walk right past someone like they were never a big part of you life. How you used to be able to talk for hours and how now, you can barely even look at them. It's hard to move on from a broken heart, but it's harder to move on from a broken friendship. A true friends silence, hurts more than the rough words from an enemy. I don't hate you, i'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you'd never be. Friends are like petals on a flower. Together they are beautiful and make people smile. But eventually, some petals fall off and drift off in the wind and go their own ways. Sometimes you got to accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be. Never again will I let someone in.
