Mineral particles of different density receive the hydrodynamic and various mechanical force in the moving medium like water, air and heavy liquid, causing proper loose strata and separation conditions, by which minerals of different density are separated.

B. Flotation Separation

According to the physical and chemical differences among minerals, they can cling on air bubbles selectively through flotation reagent’s disposal. The ore dressing of nonferrous metal like copper, lead, zinc, sulphur, molybdenum, etc. usually adopts this method.

C. Magnetic Separation

This method is based on the different mineral’s magnetic property. They are separated by the different acting force in the magnetic field of magnetic separator. It is mainly used in the separation of ferrous metal like iron, manganese, chromium, etc. It also can be adopted in the separation of nonferrous metal and rare mental.

D. Electrical Separation

Minerals are separated by the difference of mineral’s conductivity. When minerals are in the high-voltage electric field of electricslot, due to the different conductivity, minerals are separated by the different acting electrostatic force. At present, it is mainly used in the separation of mixed crude concentrate like the separation of scheelite and cassiterite, the concentration of zircon and tantalum-niobium ores, etc.

Doing anythig, there is a model. If you want to know one you pick is good or bad, there is a necessary test. When the installation of mining machinery is finished, a trial run, to be specific, no load test is a necessity before leaving the factory.

Here are some requirements about this test.

1) No load running of Mining machinery should be no less than 2 hours in series, and the machine halt should be carried out one hour late after the bearing tempeature is steady.

2) During mining machinery‘s no load operation, the maximum tempeature of rolling bearing should be no more than 75 °C, and its tempeature rise should not exceed 35°C.

3) All moving parts should run flexibly, and any blocking should be avoided. Pay attention to any abnoraml sound during no load test.

People need to bath to keep health, and similarly, machines also need a bath to keep clean and prolong its life. Taking cleaning jaw crusher parts as an example. There are mainly five cleaning methods of jaw crusher parts:

(1) Vibrative Cleaning: put parts on the cleaning basket or cleaning rack of vibrating cleaning, and immerse them in the cleaning solution. By the cleaning machine’s vibration that simulates artifical rinsing and washing movement, together with cleaning solution’s chemical effect, greasy dirt can be easily washed off.

(2) Scrubbing: put parts in a container with diesel oil, coal oil or other cleaning solution, wash them with cotton yarn or brush. This method is easy and simple, but unefficient, so it is suitable for single piece small parts. Generally, using gas is not allowd due to its lipid solubility, prone to causing healthy problems and fire accident.

(3) Spray-wash: spray cleaning solution with some pressure and temperature into the parts surface. This method is effcetive, but the equipment is a little bit complicated, so it is suitable for the simple structured parts with much oil dirt.

(4) Ultrasonic Cleaning: cleaning oil dirt by both cleaning solution and ultrasonic oscillation.

(5) Boiling Wash: put well-compounded solution and parts into an appropriate sized cleaning pool that is welded with steel plate. Heat it to the temperature of 80~90 ℃, and boil it for 3~5min.
