WWE Releases Statement on Sexual Harassment Claims
- It was recently noted that former WWE developmental talents Chase Donovan and Chad Baxter appeared on a TwoAndaHalfWrestlers.com podcast and made sexual harassment claims against NXT trainer Bill DeMott. WWE issued the following statement in response to those claims:
"There have been no sexual harassment complaints filed against any employee at the WWEs training facility in Orlando. Instead there have been baseless allegations made by disgruntled talent recently released by WWE. Regardless, WWE takes these issues seriously and investigated this matter, concluding that there was no wrongdoing."
Ivelisse Velez was interviewed by RingBellesOnline.com. Here are some highlights.
On whether you saw the real Ivelisse on Tough Enough: Editing is a powerful tool. Theres so much footage that the very little that they end up picking for to release is nothing you think damn, they end up putting that on TV and this other thing that happened that was crazy or worth being on TV didnt?
What advice she was given in developmental: I hated to hear dont wrestle like a guy, we want you to wrestle like women. My entire career I focussed on wrestling like I was just as good as the guys, and Im told now that I finally make it that I have to switch it up and be girly. It was a little frustrating.
Friction with a trainer in developmental: As soon as Dr Tom [Pritchard] was not there anymore I saw something lurking. I knew my days were limited. If you notice specifically in Tough Enough, theres a certain person that didnt really like me very much. So I knew I had to really get to the main roster as soon as I possibly can because otherwise Id probably be out of there.
News On The TNA Television and Knockouts Tag Titles
PWInsider.com is reporting that the decision to retire the Knockouts Tag Titles was made for several reasons. One, the feeling is the company just doesn't have enough Knockouts to make the title mean something currently and they are trying to take the Knockouts roster and build them around the singles title. Two, with all the other concepts (Gutcheck, Bound for Glory Series, Open Fight Night, etc.), the feeling was that certain things had to be removed to keep things from being cluttered, which is why the belts are gone.
The TNA TV title which is currently held by Abyss is gone as well for the time being. The feeling is that they can always re-introduce the belts if needed down the line.
Former Ring of Honor wrestlers Jay and Mark Briscoe were spotted at ringside at tonight's WWE house show event in Ocean City, MD. Here is a photo from the event:
Ring of Honor recently decided not to re-new their contracts with the company steaming from some controversial Twitter comments from Jay.
Prior to their contract expiring, there was talk that the two were WWE bound.
ROH tag team The American Wolves Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards were intereviewed on Mexican tv and say they are in contract negotiations with TNA and the WWE. Youtube clip courtesy of youtube member Chikarra IsWeird:
mss zelf niet de moeite om te vermelden maar ik post het toch omdat ik denk dat de roddelsites hier echt van gaan smullen
Dixie posted a picture on Instagram today with the caption "Two visitors that showed up today to see us off at the ranch. That's Texas for you!". The picture shows a scorpion and a rattlesnake.

- WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee recently spoke with CitizensVoice.com to promote upcoming live events. Here are some highlights:
Being Divas Champion: "To actually have completed that 14-year mission is amazing and surreal. I'll kinda leave the title around my apartment, just to remind me of it. Yeah, I put it in the bed with me sometimes."
Paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero by "playing possum" in the match she won the title: "That was like my shout-out to him for being my inspiration all these years. He was so funny, and whether he was somebody you wanted to boo or cheer - he was so easily (bad or good), and he didn't really change that much of his style. So funny and sassy and shady. He would just cheat all the time, and it was so goofy."
- Regarding the two Divas WWE hired for the E! reality show, Eva Marie and Jo Jo Offerman, the word going around backstage is that they are very bad in the ring.
Regarding Daniel Bryan not being punished over the recent confrontation with Triple H backstage, some witnesses say Vince McMahon was there and others say he wasn't present. Apparently Vince has given Triple H full control of managing talent and when Triple H didn't want to punish Bryan for his outburst, Vince didn't overrule him
- Dolph Ziggler was recently interviewed by The Carroll County Times to promote this weekend's WWE live events. Here are some highlights:
Q: First of all, lets talk about you coming back from your recent concussion. Was this the first one you had suffered?
A: Yeah, I mean, I think I had one other one in college, but nothing this bad ever, in my life.
Q: Can you describe what you remember about getting it and the days and weeks after getting it?
A: Yeah, sure. I had a bad headache for a solid two weeks afterwards. I was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia which meant I ended up losing a day and a half, two days of my memory instantly, even though when the incident happened, there was like five more minutes of match that I went through and actually executed very well.
Q: For you personally, was that frustrating for you, not being able to compete, having just won the World Championship?
A: Yes. I cant imagine anything in my career thats been any worse than that. I was lucky enough to cash in my Money in the Bank, become World Heavyweight Champion, at this amazing Monday Night Raw with this crowd that was electric and I dont know that we can ever reproduce again, and to have one week of some TVs go back, have a concussion, be out five weeks, have one title defense and lose it, Ive never been more frustrated in my entire WWE career when that happened.
Q: Talk about working with AJ and Big E Langston. Do you guys travel together?
A: Yeah, we do, not even all the time, but some of the time the three of us do travel together, and its been kind of cool because AJs another one who, as a child, wanted to do this like when I was five, I wanted to do this and Im doing it now I think when she was 8 or 10, she decided she wanted to do it and shes doing it. So thats brought us together. The two of us, maybe outside of work, never wouldve bumped into each other or said a word.
We are in Topeka, Kansas and your announcers are John Layfield and Michael Cole.
Our special guest makes his way to the ring so CM Punk can address the crowd. Before that happens, we see what happened on Raw when CM Punk and Curtis Axel were part of a tag team match against Darren Young and Titus ONeil.
Punk stands under the blue briefcase and he waits for the crowd to quiet down.
He says that if he was John Cena, he would give a very heartfelt speech about the Fourth of July and how much it means to be an American and how America was built on hustle, loyalty, and respect. Punk reminds everyone that he is not John Cena and he has a drastically different point of view than Cena.
He says that the Fourth of July means independence to him. It is a time when like minded individuals decided that they were not going to conform to someone elses rules. They were going to make their own rules and blaze their own trail and die for it if necessary.
Punk says that independence is important to him and if someone tells him that he has a series of rules to follow, he will break them. If he is told something and even if it was a smart idea, he was going to run away from it. When he was told that he would be the biggest thing after Wrestlemania, but he walked away. When he was told that Paul Heyman was a major asset for him at ringside, he told Paul to stay in the back.
Regardless of how good his track record is in Money in the Bank matches, he was told that the odds were against him in the All-Stars Money in the Bank match. That is why he lined everyone up and told them what he thought of them to prove them wrong.
He is a simple guy with simple needs. He has two simple goals. The first one is to get his hands on Brock Lesnar. He will get his hands on Brock and hold him accountable for the F-5 that Brock gave him on Raw. His second goal . . . and he looks at the briefcase and it is to win the Money in the Bank match and become WWE Champion again.
He says that those are his two basic goals and he has no problem telling everyone.
Alberto Del Rios music plays and Punk mentions that he is not done.
Alberto says that he was expecting more from CM Punk.
Punk says that Del Rio was expecting more from him, but Punk says that he was expecting more from Del Rio, like a cool car. Instead it is just him in a cheap suit. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.
Del Rio says that it is not about what he wants, it is about who he is. He is the World Heavyweight Champion. This is his show.
Punk agrees that Del Rio is the World Champion, but title or no title, it has never been his show. They air on Mundos and it isnt even Del Rios show. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.
Del Rio says that Punk is always making jokes. He asks Punk if they know how his people celebrated their holiday. They stuffed their faces in their backyards eating hot dogs, hamburgers, and French fries. They celebrate their freedom by watching television all day and play with the internet. They get fatter and fatter and fatter and fatter every day. Then they come to Smackdown and they cheer a filthy little pig named Dolph Ziggler who disrespected the Mexican culture and ruined his fiesta.
Then they chant USA (and the crowd starts the chant). They chant USA because they are nothing but a bunch of sheep.
Punk asks Alberto if he is the same guy who came out and championed how awesome America was until a few weeks ago. He was starting the USA chants talking about how fantastic America is. Now he is criticizing them because they saw through his Born in Mexico, Made in America crap?
They chant USA and boo Del Rio, not because he is from Mexico. It is because he tried to put on this façade and acted like a phony America. They see through him and they see Del Rio as the phony he is.
Del Rio says that Punk is always barking. He calls Punk a Chihuahua and someone needs to teach him some manners. Del Rio reminds Punk that he is the World . . . Heavyweight . . . Champion.
Punk tells Del Rio that he is the number one contender to his title of Best in the World. He doesnt chase Del Rio, Del Rio chases him. He doesnt interrupt Del Rio, it was Alberto who interrupted him.
Alberto says that this is his world, his show, and his ring. He orders Punk to leave right now.
Punk says that it sounds painfully like Alberto is telling him to do something. Punk says that it might be smart, but he is going to stay in the ring until Del Rio makes him leave the ring.
As we approach TeddyCon 2, it is time for Teddy Longs music to play and he has an even number of people in the ring so we might be getting a match for later in the show.
Teddy tells the playas to wait a minute. He says that we had fireworks for the Fourth of July, but thanks to Del Rio and Punk, we are going to have fireworks in the main event. Alberto Del Rio will face CM Punk.
We go to commercial.
We are back and CM Punk is in the locker room and Paul Heyman enters. Paul says that he is honoring Punks request to stay out of his business. He wants to ask Punk something as his best friend. Punk says that he is just a friend. Paul says that this match is a bad idea because he has everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Punk agrees with Paul that this is a situation where he has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Punk says that he will fight him anyway.
Paul talks about the Money in the Bank match. He talks about how the winner will be guaranteed the WWE Title. He says that Punk needs eyes in the back of his head and he asks to be with Punk.
Punk tells Paul, as his friend, to stay out of it.
Paul agrees and he wishes Punk luck.
Damien Sandow demands silence and he tells the slackjawed mouth breathers of the WWE Universe that they are about to witness a new era in WWE. They will be in a Money in the Bank match for a World Title contract. For those who are wagging their tongues over the thought of the decimation of the Rhodes Scholars, they could not be any more incorrect.
Cody says that the best man will win and Damien agrees.

The Shield appear on the TitanTron and they congratulate them on being able to combine unlimited potential and talent with a string of luck. Last week, they got lucky with Christian and got one by on the Shield. Seth says that they might think that they are no longer invincible, but it means that they are more focused than ever. They will not be lucky after Money in the Bank.
Roman says that they will need more than luck to beat them at Money in the Bank. Roman says that they will put the Usos back in their place.
Ambrose says that he showed Christian his place after Raw. One out of one hundred times, you might beat him. Monday was the first of ninety-nine in a row where he will win. Dean tells everyone to wait for him to be lurking in the shadows with the Money in the Bank briefcase. He says that he will win the Money in the Bank ladder match and he will own the world.
He tells everyone to believe in the Shield.

We take a look back at Daniel Bryans refereeing job in the Randy Orton and Kane match.
Renee Young is in the interview area with Christian and Randy Orton. Renee asks them about their rivalry and how it will continue tonight.
Christian says that he has already beaten Randy Orton for the World Title. He will put everyone on notice after he wins tonight and then goes on to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Randy says that Christian will learn first hand why he is the man who everyone should worry about at Money in the Bank in his One More Match.

Teddy says that he thinks that Paul can provide a lot of insight about CM Punk on commentary. He also reminds Paul of what Punk said earlier about walking the opposite direction of what people tell him to do. Teddy says that he is in charge and since Punk says that Paul does not go out there, Paul has to go out tonight.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. We see footage from the WWE App showing some possible tension between Dolph and AJ Lee over the situation with Kaitlyn.
Dolph says that the last few months have been a blur. There is one thing and one memory that he will never forget. The night that he defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the World Champion. After that, things get a little fuzzy. He just came back from a concussion and he had a giant target on his head and Del Rio took advantage of that. He does not remember too much after that.
This is not ballet. What he does remember is a giant cheesy grin on Del Rios face while flailing his arms around. He talked about how much he loved America. He could not do the impossible. He could not convince you that he was likeable. Del Rio is full of crap. Dolph says that he might be a lot of things, but he does not claim to be something he is not. TNA Impact Wrestling Las Vegas, NV (Orleans Arena) July 4, 2013 Commentators: Mike Tenay, Taz Report by: Josh Boutwell of Wrestleview.com
Happy 4th of July to all my Americans out there and Roll Tide as usual!
Impact opens up with highlights from last week and then the NEW X-Division Champion Austin Aries makes his way down to the ring. Aries says that some people love him and some people love to boo him, but the fact of the matter is now everyone has to respect him. He says that he came out last week and did what he does, outsmarted people and created controversy. He says last year he was the man that created Option C meaning the X-Division Champion gets to case in the title for a shot at the World Title, and not only did he do that but he also won the World Title. Aries says that after his clever plan last week you can bet your sweet ass he is cashing it in again for a shot at the World Title at Destination X on July 18th. Aries tells Hogan to get out to the ring so he can make this thing official.
Hogan comes out and Aries tells him that hes ready to hand the belt over for his shot at DX. Hogan accepts the belt and says that Aries has done it again. He says that Aries is the one that created Option C but hes also created other things in TNA. He says that Aries took the X-Division to a brand new high with Option C but then took it to a brand new low by doing what he did last week. Hogan says no one in Sin City has seen a sin like what Aries did to Suicide. Hogan says he wont allow the X-Division Champion to cash in on Option C until the end of the night because tonight were having an X-Division Title Match in the Main Event! Hogan says his first challenger will be the man that Aries stabbed in the back last week Suicide under his new name Manic.
Manic comes out and he is wearing pretty much the same gear except there is a big M on his chest rather than the Suicide logo. Manic gets in Aries face but then Hogan says the other challenger will be the former champion Chris Sabin! Hogan says both Sabin & Manic get a chance to right the wrong from last week.
Sabin says one year ago he never thought he would be able to get back in the ring again, but he never gave up and never stopped fighting. Sabin says Aries is the greatest scam that ever lived and he earned the title while Aries cheated his way to it. He says there is nothing that Aries or anyone else can do to stop him from becoming a 6-time X-Division Champion tonight.
Bad Influence complains about the camera guy trying to get into their locker room. Camera guy says he just wants comments from Kaz about his match with AJ tonight. Kaz says there is no one that knows AJ better than Bad Influence and tonight hell beat him and it doesnt matter if its the clean-cut Bieber version of AJ or the current version.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
The new leader board shows that Magnus has moved up to 24 points over the weekend while Samoa Joe jumped up to 19 points behind him. The rest of the field remains the same.
BFG Series Match The Phenomenal AJ Styles vs. Kazarian
Both guys are former members of Fortune and are both TNA Originals having faced each other numerous times over the years including over the X-Division Title back in the Asylum days in Nashville. AJ currently has 2 points in the BFG Series while Kaz has yet to score a point. Kaz and Daniels come out dressed as Siegfried & Roy as its once again Throwback Thursday. Daniels is even carrying a stuffed Tiger. Kaz is going to actually continue wearing the goofy wig and weird shirt for the match. Kaz goes after AJ but AJ sidesteps him and connects with a big right hand knocking Kazs wig off. Kaz finally takes the shirt off as he escapes to the floor but AJ goes flying through the ropes with a Missile Dropkick to Kaz. AJ rolls Kaz back in the ring and then attempts to whip Kaz into the corner, but Kaz reverses it and charges at AJ. AJ floats up and over Kaz and then hits a hurricanrana that sends Kaz back into the corner. AJ whips Kaz into the opposite corner and then comes charging in with a Flying Forearm. AJ whips Kaz into the opposite corner and goes for another Flying Forearm but Kaz moves out of the way this time and then hits a big Monkey Flip out of the corner! Kaz beats on AJ on the mat and then whips AJ into the ropes and connects with a Heel Kick for a nearfall. Kaz taunts AJ by slapping him in the back of the head and then picks him up but AJ slaps his hand away and then connects with a series of vicious strikes capping them off with a big Lariat! AJ hits another Lariat and then a Running Back Elbow followed by another clothesline. AJ whips Kaz into the corner and then charges at him but Kaz backdrops AJ to the apron. Kaz swings at AJ but he blocks the punch and then connects with a forearm. AJ then hits the Springboard Flying Forearm! 1 2 NO Kaz kicks out! AJ picks Kaz up but gets caught with a Jawbreaker out of nowhere. Kaz then follows up with a nasty dropkick that sends AJ into the corner for a nearfall. Kaz argues with the referee and then swings at AJ, but AJ ducks and then goes for a Back Suplex. Kaz lands on his feet and then goes for a German Suplex, but AJ blocks it and goes for the Calf Killa! Kaz counters into a rollup, 1 2 NO AJ kicks out and rolls Kaz up into the Calf Killa! Kaz fights it briefly but finally taps!

Chavo Guerrero hypes Hernandez up in the back and tells him that the BFG Series is a marathon not a sprint. Chavo tells Hernandez this is his chance to get to the World Title and hell be in Hernandezs corner tonight.
Mickie is in the ring with a ladder set up, and damn is she looking good. Mickie says she knows that everyone is wondering what shes doing out there with a ladder. Mickie says she is here to tell a story and she says that to get to the Knockout division you have to climb and crawl and scratch as she climbs up the ladder. Mickie just climbed up that ladder in some big ass heels, I dont imagine that was easy. Mickie says she is a national recording artist in Country Music and shes the one that is being asked to walk the red carpets and shes the one that is being asked to endorse major products (Dr. Pepper). She holds the Knockouts Title and says that she is also the Knockouts Champion, but even though she beat Velvet again last week all she keeps hearing about is the Ladder Match next week. Mickie says she wants Gail & Taryn to come out and break a leg in fact break everything because at the end of the day it doesnt even matter because neither one will ever make the history that Mickie has made or as great as she is. Mickie says whoever wins that match shes going to take that person all the way from the top of the ladder (of the Knockouts division) down to the bottom breaking her face on each and every rung on the ladder of the Knockouts division until she is standing at the top of the division all alone. She calls herself the Knockout of the Century and raises the title in the air as she winks at the camera.
Backstage Danny Davis, Bruce Prichard, & Al Snow discuss the horrid Gut Check Match from last week. Snow says Big O did better than Ryan Howe but Howe has improved since he started (thats scary). Prichard says that the fans didnt respond to either guy. Snow & Prichard argue about Prichard not liking anyone. Prichard says his mind was made up in the first few minutes of the match.
We cut to the Gut Check Judges with Howe & Big O now. Someone needs to slap Al Snow for that horrible jacket hes wearing. Prichard says Big O has been eliminated and Ryan Howe will face the judges in the ring.
The Main Event Mafia arrives in the parking lot and Angle says that the numbers keep growing, and the fourth member will be revealed to the world.

Wes again asks about Brooke and mentions her announcement that shes engaged to Dallas Cowboys Center Phil Costa. Bully says he isnt going to tell Wes again not to talk about that. He says that is personal and has nothing to do with club business. Bully says the winner of tonights match faces him at Destination X. Main Event Mafia is shown walking backstage.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Jeff Hardy talks about Joseph Park in the back and says that Park is getting better, and he senses a bit of the dark side thats inside Abyss and mentions his history with Abyss.
Main Event Mafia come down to the ring and is using the old theme again thankfully. Comedian Louie Anderson is shown in the crowd. Sting & Angle come out without Samoa Joe. Angle says the Main Event Mafia is back, back in the place it was originally born by the way, and theyre back for two reasons: 1 to destroy Aces and Eights and 2 to make sure Bully Ray losses the World Title.
Sting says the previous Main Event Mafia consisted of former World Heavyweight Champions and in situations like that you dont always have the greatest unity so they decided to go for a no nonsense approach so thats why they went to the 3rd member. He says this man represents change in the new Main Event Mafia and then introduces Samoa Joe.
Joe comes down to the ring looking snazzy in his MEM suit. A huge Joe chant starts up and he says the Mafia once again runs Las Vegas. He says for the past 12 months hes always been a man of his own devices but hes noticed lately that there is strength in numbers. He says that he even realizes that even a man like himself cant beat up that many cowards at once (Aces & Eights) so now he has his own crew of the baddest men on the planet that specialize in beating up cowards. Joe says in this years BFG Series with Sting & Angle behind him he will run through every member of the BFG Series until he earns his shot at the gold when he will choke out Bully Ray for the World Title!
Angle says hes the one that picked Joe as the 3rd member of the Mafia because of the amazing matches he had with Joe. He says those matches pushed him and led to respect and now that respect has led to loyalty. Angle says Joe is the baddest s.o.b. hes ever been in the ring with. He says that Joe came to him this week with an idea of who the 4th member should be and when Joe told him he thought damn thats a good idea. Angle says that many would pick this guy as the future of TNA but Angle says he is the here and now .MAGNUS!
Magnus comes out and hugs the other members. Magnus says when he was approached by Sting, Angle, & Joe he had to think about it for a split second because when opportunity knocks you answer the door. Magnus calls Sting one of the greatest in the history of wrestling and Angle the greatest wrestler bell to bell ever. He turns to Samoa Joe and says that he was put on the map because of his association and rivalry with Samoa Joe in 2012. Magnus says its not just about him or the Main Event Mafia even, its about Aces & Eights which is why he signed up for this. He says they are going to put an end to MEM for good.
Sting says July 18th is the next time the World Title is on the line and right now MEM is challenging Aces & Eights to a fight that night. Sting says Bully Ray asked the question what if there wasnt a winner tonight and Sting says that MEM will make sure there is a winner in the X-Division Title Match.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
A great promo video for Destination X in 2 weeks from now airs saying the pass, present, and future of the X-Division will collide at DX.

Hardy gets the crowd behind him and then they lockup and Park forces Hardy into the corner. They break clean and then Hardy gets Park in a side headlock. Park shoves Hardy into the ropes and then catches Hardy with a shoulder block to take Hardy down. Park seems surprised at that and then they lockup again and this time Hardy gets Park in a side headlock. ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Ryan Howe joins the Gut Check Judges in the ring and I still want to kick Al Snow in the balls for that horrendous jacket. Ryan Howe says abso-freaking-lutely to the question of whether last night was his best effort. Big NO chants start up as Snow talks. Snow says he was the one that decided to give Howe this chance after watching him get better and grow. Snows answer is no despite all that.
Howe says it takes a lot of guys a lot of years to get a chance like this and for him to have that chance he knows hes doing something right after just a few short years. The fans try their damndest to drown out Howes promo with boos. Howe says he proved he can entertain the fans like no one has ever seen (yeah nonexistent). He says hes the future of TNA and then Danny Davis says his mind was made up before but the fans have changed his mind because Howe did not let them sidetrack him while they were booing him out of the arena. Davis says he thinks Howe has potential and it will take time but his answer is yes which gets a ton of boos.
Bruce Prichard says Howe definitely got a reaction from the audience and he wont doubt his heart or desire, but if this was any other type of competition he might get a chance to go on to another round but this is Gut Check and the answer is NO. The fans actually popped for the no.
In the back Bully Ray says its Main Event time so its time to go to the ring and watch nobody win. DOC approaches Bully and says he heard MEMs challenge and that he could take them out them out singlehandedly and he should be the next VP. Anderson walks up and mocks him and says hes campaigning and next week there will be a vote so he needs to shut up. Bully says if Anderson & DOC spent as much time on taking out MEM instead of stabbing each other in the back they may have gotten the job done by now. He says they need to go out there and raise some hell and piss some people off.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Aces & Eights come out and will watch the match from the crowd.
A video package hypes up the Ladder Match for next week.
