Alle vliegtuigen waren op tijd. s avonds rond 18u30 toegekomen in sao paolo, de mensen van de hostel die ons zouden komen halen stonden er natuurlijk niet...dus maar taxi genomem. eens aangekomen aan de hostel deed er niemamd open, hmm, gelukkig heeft die taxichauffeur ons supergoed geholpen, en heeft hij zitten bellen enzo en alles is in orde gekomen. Om te bekomen zijn we lekker caipirinjas gn drinken dicht bij de hostel, en dan eindelijk dododoen na een lange dag

FROM BUS STATION: Again the best and easiest option is to take a radio taxi from just outside the bus station. You pay a fixed fee at the counter. It will cost about 20 Reais to get to Copacabana. Directions for taxi: Simply show or tell the driver our street address in Copacabana and they will know. We´re on the corner with steet - 'Rua Duvivier'.
Another option is to take the ´Real´ Bus from in front of the bus station. It´s cheaper but takes much longer. It costs 4 Reais & the driver speaks English. Walk past the taxi rank just outside the station & wait for the bus at the side of the road opposite. They run every 15 minutes and will stop on the main beach road (avenida atlantica). Ask to stop at 'Hotel International' or 'Rua Duvivier' (street name). Walk up this street (Rua Duvivier) two blocks and turn right onto 'Rua Barata Rebeiro'. We´re the second building on the right.

From bus estation: Get the bus "Expresso Centenario" (centenario express) (red bus) in front the bus station. Get off in "Praça Rui Barboça" (Rui Barbosa square) in the same square take the bus "Tramontina" and get off in front the hostel. We can pick up you in the bus station from R$ 15,00. From the airport, you must get the "onibus Executivo" (Executive Bus) and get off in the "Rua 24 horas" (24 hours street) walk 2 blocks to the "Praça Rui Barboça" (Rui Barboça square) and get te bus "Tramontina".
