Some playful training pictures of Rosa in Holland with Henk and some at rest and taking her for a bike ride!! Liv in Switzerland decided she needed a rest and climbed herself up on the "Swinging" chair and layed down. Not bad for such a little one!!!
Ester getting water fun & out on the town. This is a quote of what Johanna, her owner said about her experience: translated from swedish:
When one is a little puppy, it is obviously important to
see alot of different things that you will encounter later in life. Much
environmental training may Ester free because we live centrally but one day we
were down in the industrial landscape and the city to get a little extra.
Esther took it all with greater peace than I had expected a small puppy. She
reacted really not anything that (bridges, water was flowing, grid steps,
people, strollers, bicycles, joggers, walkers, trams, buses, street sweepers, litter
bins, tall buildings and a thousand other things that can be intimidating when
you are small) with any than curiosity.=
If this was not a good time for you,for a
puppy!!! I am planning a litter with Gibbs, who is Eli's daughter with
Odin. Since the last puppies of Eli and Odin were such amazing good looking,
intelligent and active puppies with lots of working instinct and will to please
in them, I decided to use Odin for Gibbs also. I am expecting active puppies,
so not suitable for people who are not planning on "doing" something together
with the pup. For more info, please email me.
Halfmoon Destiny of Topbrass "Kelsey" died today at the age of almost 13 years old . We went out this morning for our walk/training and we were along a river, where she loves to swim, which she did and even chased a waterbird and when we got back to the car ,she collapsed at my feet and could not get up anymore. The vet said no reflexes anymore and most certain a blood clot in the brain!! What a bad day, yesterday the last puppy of her daughter left and today she died. Life begins and life ends, the circle is round but life sucks right now. What will I miss her. We have literally travelled the world together, for fun and trials and picking-up!! You will live on through all the wonderful puppies you and your two daughters have put onto this world!!
This morning Whispering Oaks "Liv" was picked up to live in Switzerland to be a search & rescue dog with Milos. I believe she will be wonderful doing that and I wish all of the puppies a great life and do what they like most and were bred to do is: WORK!!!
Well Ms pink, Whispering Oaks Lovely "Ester" has settled in with Johanna. She flew to Sweden with Anne Charlotte and Baccus and then moved on to Norway!!
Well all the pups that left, arrived at their new home safe and are doing good. Some went swimming as the weather in Austria was + 30 degrees, so perfect to start that. The ones that stayed North do not have that advantage as of yet, but hopefully all warms up and they can all have a change to have a good swim. Enjoy them!!!
7 Puppies are gone as of today. One more to go to Switserland and then all are at their new homes!!! Whispering Oaks Longrunner-Sweden Whispering Oaks Lovely-Sweden Whispering Oaks Lotus-Austria Whispering Oaks Leaf-Austria Whispering Oaks Lara-Hungary Whsipering Oaks Liv-Switzerland Whispering Oaks Leena-The Netherlands Whsipering Oaks Layka-The Netherlands Some going away pictures!!!
Yesterday the puppies had a new playmate!! Leen, granddaughter of old hunting friends came for a visit & Marc, who owns a sister of Eli.So lots of excitement,!!! Unfortunately it was very warm, so were tired out quickly!!
The pups are now official!! Chipped & DNA'd and vaccinated
We have passports and can travel and are chipped, vaccinated and dna is taken!! What a day, but all were good as gold and let it all happen. Out on the terrace, another warm day, so let's hope this weekend also!!! Oh and we had some water fun yesterday!! It got really warm in the afternoon so just put some water out and they all had great fun!!
Well after they go into the outside kennel, weather permitting, I go in and clean and change bedding!! The before picture and then it shows you the after picture after they come inside and start playing!!! Don't they understand outside is to play and inside to rest!! ENJOY!!!
All got de-wormed and weighed. They all weighed almost 3 kilo, except mr. blue weighs a bit more! We re-arranged the outdoors, so they are less in the sun, because it gets too hot for them. So all outside and of course in the afternoon rain again, so in we went, BUT this morning while we had our outing in the grass, we had a slight panic from me. I went to get water after I had put them on the grass and when I returned, NO PUPPIES!! All gone. Of course I know they cannot get out of the yard but still..... so looking for them and they had gone around the corner and fence and through heavy cover and crawled under the kennel to get to Mom, who loved it. They were going in and out of her Igloo and through the flap doors to get inside then under the panels into Gibbs kennel, who doesn't understand what they are, so was jumping around them and then into Jinks kennel, flying by her and out to the other side, while I was scooping them up and calling them, so they came flying and that was the end of their freedom for then!!! Now pictures and it is mr. Blue's day, all sleeping positions.
