VWA has announced the opening of their developmental territory, called Vermont Championship Wrestling.
The promotion will serve as VWA's talent development program, and will be located in VWA's home city, Montpelier, VT.
As far as today, four wrestlers have been relocated to the new developmental promotion: Husky Harris, Michael McGillicutty, UltraMantis Black and Yoshi Tatsu. They will be competing in a monthly non-televised show at the headquarters' training center, for the Vermont Heavyweight Championship. Other lower-card wrestlers (including female) will soon be relocated to VCW, where they will be able to compete.
