A magical and very colourful vibrant extralong dreammovie about the adventures of princess Lotje and Baron von Flory travelling by their electric blue stallion along the winding roads of Wonderland. Hidden in exotic trunks and boxes they carry a treasure of crystals, precious stones and silver jewelry, which they sell and trade to castle warehouses, magic stores and oases of peace and tranquility.....Their castle is based on a powerful dormant purple volcano. Princess Lotje is carrying a secret bloodstone magic stick and a special star ruby. What funny characters are they going to meet and how will Life's mystery unfold itself?

Like a poppy in the wind....
Today Princess Lotje feels like a Californian poppy, smiling with her buds to the sun, but feeling as if her fresh roots were suddenly cut off. She is floating like a fairy through the redwoods, having no time to replenish her own sweet Self with Earth and Water. Her spleen hurts, her golden hairs fall out and she hides her tears, secretly longing for a comfortable, stable home and the soothing warmth of an open fire place.
Soms, wanneer je reist en in een vreemde omgeving terecht komt ,waarin je niemand kent en niemand jou kent, voel je je alsof je in een droom rondloopt. Op zo'n momenten is er weinig identificatie met een eigen ik en is het merkwaardig makkelijk om een Seconc Life avatar te creeren, een soort alter ego dat uit zijn gewoonlijke gevangenis van ideeen, gewoontes en concepten stapt en zich laat meevoeren met de 'natural flow of events'. Op zo'n momenten loop je zomaar luid te zingen op straat, zwier je met je kont in een sexy kleedje tot net onder je gat (en als je een broek of lange jurk draagt, doe je liefst geen ondergoed aan - voelt gewoon beter), de wind in je lijf laat je vrijuit vliegen, neuspeuteren doe je lang en ongegeneerd, een plasje doe je achter een struik, je bent vriendelijk tegen iedereen en je praat met vissen in een aquarium. Kortom, you cut through all the bullshit, zegt foert tegen voorbeelding gedrag, leven volgens de norm, je bent gewoon wie je bent.....Een dromer in de droom. En vooral....don't believe everything you think and don't take it personal!
After a few days out in the bush, the contrast with this roadside motel (pacific suites, 69 $ a night, jacuzzi in every room) can't be bigger. Here Lotje finds herself eating a free hot breakfast (frozen omelettes, bagels, cornflakes, etc) from plastic plates with plastic silverware, drinking coffee from sterofoam cups. The tv is blasting disaster news and commercials for healthier skin, whiter teeth and shinier hair, but the song in the background sings : "waking up ....ohohoh....in everyday America....everybody's dreaming"
After having been exposed to the Fire Element in India, Lotje got an overdose of Water in California. Harbin Hotsprings is all about water! For 3 days she soaked bathed swam washed drank showered merged watsu-d and rinced herself off with holy spring water. First night was luxury: they slept in a round white hobbit dome, then in a tent next to the creek where water entered their dreams....
Home cooked dal rice and baby carrots were shared with Wendy from massachuchets, an elderly lady who just finished a retreat with gangaji and was carrying around a book on annamalai swami, a devoted ramana disciple. After talking for hours about Arunachala, Fire and Water finally merged into That which has no form nor name!!!
Somewhat later they bumped into Siddharta and Gayatri, a yoga teacher couple and friends from Tiru. Whereas in India, they always see each other covered from ankles to shoulders, it's funny to meet here in Adam and Eve's costume.
Days are spent doing yoga at the straw bale temple, making (good!) sales at Harbin Market, drinking capuccino on the terrace, watching movies in theatre. But...even Paradise becomes boring after a while, so Lotje ate an apple, put on some clothes and hit the road again.
After a long flight, 5 cans of ice soda and 3 american tearjerkers on a tiny little screen (freedom writers, the pursuit of happyness (wow!wow!wow!,...), Lotje found herself in yet another american movie, driving in a blue Subaru on 101 inter high state highway through hectic san francisco, enjoying the fresh ocean's breeze. No clouds were rolling in that afternoon and the weather was warm and sunny.
They stopped at the Shangri-la, a buddhist veggie restaurant in Chinatown (where they ate exactly the same dishes as 2 years ago....her lucky cookie said...'Home is a pleasant place from which you draw lots of happiness..') then drove over the golden gate bridge all the way to fairfax, a cosy little town where Kalidas spent most of his hippy years in a cottage in the woods, running his shop 'marvelous minerals'.
She felt like watching an old movie (and totally jet-lagged wanted to step on the first plane back home), but 12 hrs of sleep, coffee and strawberries made her feel like why not enjoy the movie. Like a fairy she danced and sang her way up to the waterfall and she met with 5 vultures, a snake, a racoon and a fox.
For Lotje everything now seemed so beautiful, so otherwordly, so big, lush, push and abundant as if the tv screen was on brighter, colours enhanced and with lots of articial flavours added.
