I have some big news ! Someone remembers the guys with the aerodynamic shoes of who I spoke in one of my first messages ? Well, a miracle happened ! He wore other shoes today... It was a classical pair like those ones you wear under a suit but then in brown. Ok, I wasn't really a fan of it, but it was much better than that aerodynamical poison ! Then I wondered: did he read my blog ? Did he understand that it was about him and realised that his shoes were soooo ugly ?
(Btw I found those motherfuckers ! The friend who's in his class told me the brand (Scapa, wow I didn't know Scapa had such ugly shoes !) and I looked them up on google. As you can see, the clothes are rather sober and so are the colors. It's a style that fits a lot of people and it isn't risky at all (well when you wear it right of course ).

According to Karl Lagerfeld (from Chanel... ) is the spring/summer trend for 2010: Wild West and Farmers... I suppose some of you saw the Chanel fashion show in Paris with performance of Lilly Allen ( each time I hear her song 'Not fair' I have to think of the fashion show ) on tv. It was a fashion show for women's clothing but Baptiste Giabiconi (known as the favourite male model from Karl Lagerfeld) apeared in a few men's combinations.
When you look at the campain-photo it's clear that the Wild West played a big role. Baptiste Giabiconi (well I suppose it's him on the photo... ) could come straight out of the film Desperado 2. Hii dear readers ! If you live in Belgium, you've probably already heard about Bent Van Looy (if you've never heard about him, aliens just brainwashed you I guess !)... If you know Bent, you' probably already heard about his pants... I would name this style: Water in the cellar. His pants are always a bit too short and on this way he shows his cool socks.
It's a bit a weird style, but I like it ! Ok I'm sure not everybody can get away with it. But if you like it and it fits you, why won't you try it ?
Aloha ! I woke up this morning and the sky was blue, the sun was shining and the birds were fluting (ok maybe I just imagined the birds... ), then I realised that spring is coming up ! (Although it was a real cold winter, I sometimes began to think that we would have snow the whole year through !) But the most important: a new season means a new trend for that season. I'm not specialized in trendwatching or things like that (maybe I should do such things more... ) but in my eyes this has to be the 'new' trend, just because I like it and it's really cool : Spring rocks !
- Your jeans have to be skinny (many 'colors' and washings are possible, but my favourites are the black jeans or the grey ones). April 77 has some nice black skinny jeans. Levi's has always a big jeans collection and sometimes there are a pair of black ones between ( I bought once black Levi's jeans, a tip: just wash them with special soap for black clothes or they will become a bit green, trust me ) Are you not that into skinny jeans ? No problem, try a pair of Diesel and you will rock too ! (Tip: take your scissors and make from your jeans a ripped one on the height of your knee or knees !)
- Shoes: the Dr. Martin boots. I would not try the classical shiny ones... (But you still can do that hé !) They have also boots that are not shiny. (Tip: don't wear them like it should be, don't close your lacets and wear them a bit nonchalant, try to make them look old like you've been wearing them for 5 years... ) http://www.dmusastore.com/p-2960-pier.aspx

Just take a dark color (not the brown color of the regular trenchcoats...) and not to long... So I hope someone is gonna like this style (I know, not everybody will do, but I'm gonna talk about different styles and I'm sure yours will come lately !) and will copy it with my tips.. !

Someone ever wanted to be French like ? (French guys (surely the Paris ones) are known for their good style, who don't want to speak fluently French it just sounds so cool, .... )
You can also go to their shops, but then you'll have to go to France (Lille, Valenciennes, Arras or Dunkerque). I cross my finger that those T's will ever be sold in other countries.
Hellooo ! I have good news: I discovered by accident a really nice style site or blog or watherver you may call it. And it's such a pleasure to see that a lot of guys still do have style ! Let's beginning with the first one, Wiktor: I'm a big fan of Wiktor his outfit ! It's sober but so cool ! I love his scarf. I don't see much guys with scarfs and that's a pity ! You should try it cause it's warm and you can't do anything wrong with the scarf Wiktor wears. (It's even from H&M so it's very availible and cheap ! His outfit is just so perfect...
Then Bartosz: I love his cardigan ! Maybe you find that only gays wear cardigans but that's so not true. He wears his skinny jeans so perfect (the cardigan, the shoes, ...). So if you wanna wear a skinny jeans first take a look at him. Bartosz has a lot of good looks posted on lookbook. Like the photo who's added to my message. It's also him in a spring/summer outfit. So if you need some inspiration for the summer: look at him ! (Btw, his glasses are soo cool ! )
Last but not least James: His outfit is soo perfect ! Sober with a cool nerdy touch. In the beginning I wasn't such a big fan of his shoes, but when I took a longer look at them, I realised that they give a nice touch on his outfit. Just like his glasses do. He said that the glasses are availible in this site: www.allegro.pl , so if you're interested... I took a look at the site but realised everything was in Polish and I didn't understand anything. So I didn't find the glasses .
I'm a big fan of those three Polish guys. The styles they show on the photo are my favourite some of my favourite guy styles !

I discovered in the ELLE a brand for guys. I must admit I love it ! It's a bit British style. Their clothes are really stylish with a cool accent ( like the shoes they wear under their clothes ! ) Before I'll forget it, the brand is called: Cold Method. ( In Belgium it's surely available in Brooklyn. ) I hope you guys will like it ! And it's not for nothing the shoes-week, so I still got to say that I normally ain't a fan of the shoes on the photo. But combinated with those clothes I love it ! They give a nonchalant accent on the clothes.
Btw, the photo is some combinations of the fall / winter collection 2009-2010. So if you still want to buy something in sale and you like it, take you chance !
Helloo I've been wondering today: why do guys older than 12 still wear shoes with velcro ? That's sooo for primary school. (When you are reading this, you're older than 12 and you have shoes with velcro: throw them away together with the garbage !!!!!) Well I'm asking myself: are they still not able to tie their shoelaces ? That would be so pathetic !
The worst thing at all: in the bus, a guy (1st year, 2nd year high school ?) was wearing such shoes ! Horrible ! It was a torture to watch it but they just attracted my eyes and I couldn't stop watching. Then I decided to call those shoes poison... I hope I will ever be able to banish this poison out of the world .
(But i have to admit that such shoes can be really cute for toddlers .)
Btw: my back-up friend Loes said an awesome sentence today. It's about guys and fashion: "A guy can be ugly, but wearing the right clothes can make him so much more handsome !" Well, I totally agree with her.
Helloo ! I have some good news ! One of my friends (the one who had her opinion about shoes, remember ? ...) deciced to help me with my blog ! Yaaaay ! That makes me really happy ! We decided to handle one fashion subject or style per week. So this week it is the 'shoes week'.
Today, we have 'discussed' the shoes of boys at our school. Everytime we saw ugly shoes we made the same funny sound. Unfortunately, I must admit that we had to do our sound the whole time... Students (no matter how old they were), teachers,... a lot of guys wore such an ugly pair of shoes ! Luckily we also saw very nice shoes today. I was very impressed by a black pair of Addidas with red stripes... Aaaand I found them on the internet, so I'll add it as a photo from an internetadress. I hope it'll work. (I've noticed that I can't see the Adam Brody photo in my previous message, I hope you guys can.. !)
To start I'm gonna introduce myself. I'm Marielle, a "desperate" girl. Ok, maybe desperate isn't the right word, cause if you saw me you would say the opposite. I'm just a bit ' desperate' because i've realised that a lot of guys are so bad in chosing the right chlotes or the right combinations to wear ! So I got the idea to make this blog... Hi my dear readers (well, I hope someone is reading this xD),
I'm gonna tell you about the importance of shoes. As a girl and a fashionfreak, one of the first things I notice about a guy is the shoes he's wearing. But it's not only me (yes I know, you could maybe say I'm nuts), one of my best friends even says that shoes tell a lot of the personality of someone. Actually I must agree with her.
So i'm going to start with shoes that are completely NOT ! 1. The sportshoes. You know, those ones that sportsmen use to run. They are made to sport and not to wear all day. Surely not under a tux ! I can understand that they're maybe comfortable, but you have a lot of other shoes that are comfy and nice ! (And sportshoes are even more not when they're as white as a sheet !) 2. Aerodynamic shoes for cycling. A guy who's in the class of one of my friends wears those one. They're just ugly. I don't have much to add. You can describe them in two words: ugly & horrible. 3. The brown sandals (especially with with socks !). It's nerdy and soooo ugly !
Well there are still a lot of ugly shoes left, but that are the most horrible ones I guess.
Now the shoes that are nice ! (Well, they're nice in my opinion.. ) 1. You can't do anything wrong with Allstars ! You have so many colors and prints, so choose one that fits your personality and you're ready to go ! (Btw: I find that black Allstars look sooo hot under a tux. ) 2. Sneakers, you can keep them discrete in black or grey or..., you can also wear them creative in all colors. Some of my favourite brands for sneakers : Diesel, Pull and bear, O'Neill, ...... (But attention: there are many many many ugly sneakers !) 3. Guys on thongs in summer are really cool !
On the photo (well I hope that the thing with the photo will work, I'm not good with computers and it's my first blog so...) you can see some actors who play in The OC. The left guy is Adam Brody and he looks so cool in his black Allstars ! The right guy is Chris Carmarck and he looks also great with his shoes. But with this shoes you have to know how to combine them. They can seem very ugly with a wrong combination. Chris Carmarck did a great job.
(P.S. : I've noticed that i made a lot of spellingmistakes (maybe even grammarmistakes) in my previous message. Just don't mind it, I'm sorry. )
