More information about tantra.
What is it?
Our body is an enormous reservoir of capacities and energy. Tantra helps
to explore these capacities and energy, bring us into contact with them and
lets us recognize and feel them. These unconscious capacities are sexually
loaded and can be found in our pelvis, between the legs. Its a part of the body which still has a hidden
and forbidden character in our present-day civilization, covered with a lot of
social and religious taboos. They are extraordinary energies that remain unused and even unknown by
most of us, but that can be aroused and developed by tantra massage (and yoga).
Tantra frees this energy by massage and lets it flow through your whole
body.Tantra dissolves your complete EGO (controlled by our brain, nourished
by our education, society and ideology). This dissolving happens just before the orgasm by means of deep, gentle
but also intimate touching and rubbing. At that moment we come into contact
with our basic being: our deeper self. We go through an ecstasy that exceeds
the I. Therefore tantra uses the sexual delight to pass the protecting shell
of the ego, to set free the rational obstructions. The energy flow of the sexual delight is also called KOENDALINI: a
snake of sensuality and well-feeling that makes its way up from the pelvis
via the dorsal vertebra to the head. At that moment head (ratio) and body
(sensuality) are one.
One of the purposes of tantra is to put the I (ratio) in contact with
the whole body (the unconsciousness). This creates a kind of super intelligence
(emotional intelligence). This is also what
yoga aims at, but less sexually and physically.
In tantra we are conscious of as well our male as our female energies,
which are both present in our body, whether we are a man or a woman. Tantra
regards us as man and as woman (androgyne)
and we accept that. So we come closer to our real nature and we feel more
self-confident and open-minded. Without judgement, without pain, without guilt.
Tantra is looking for the higher, the deeper, the essentials in our
life, in our body. Therefore tantra also has spiritual connotations. Some
5000 years ago, in the Far East, tantra was applied in a religious context, in
group in the temples. People practiced tantra naked (oil massage). So they set
themselves free from day-to-day worries and came in contact with the higher,
in western terminology: the divine that according to eastern philosophy is
present in each person (and not high in the sky above us, as is said in
Christian, Jewish and Islam religion). But through history our western society
has banned sexual energy to the closed cellar of our body of which we have to
be ashamed, somewhere deep under the navel. According to the ancient tantra
cult that genital area is precisely the place where our primal power, the
KOENDALINI, slumbers to be aroused. And that can happen any time and not only
when we want to procreate.
Tantra is based on sexual awakening and uses this sexual energy as an
entrance to the universe that is stored within us. The divine in ourselves. In
order to remain as long as possible on that divine level, the aim is to delay
the orgasm as long as possible or to experience the orgasm a second time (which
is easier for women than for men).
As a matter of fact tantra is an extension of our consciousness during
which the ratio is extended to the ultimate feeling and is united to being
(Zen).
How does it work?
The key that opens the gate to tantra is: open your mind for the other
and create the subtile contact so that the energy can flow and be exchanged
between 2 or more persons. Between a man and a woman, between a man and a man,
between a woman and a woman.
Massage is the ultimate and most complete form of tantric contact. The
whole body is touched with respect but in the conviction that a lot is inside
which can and may be released. It is as a tribute to our fantastic but
undervalued body, the most divine creation
The female genital organ is called YONI, the male genital organ LINGHAM.
Both organs are the instruments of our sexual energy. As well yoni as lingham
receive a massage, are stimulated and honoured during a tantra massage.
Tantra massage is the ideal way to experience this vision on our body.
Both persons (the one who give and the one who receives the massage) are naked.
This creates a feeling of equality in vulnerability, in giving oneself away, in
releasing taboos and rational inhibitions. Starting point is respect for each
others body, sensitivities and limits.

Do you want to learn the art of massage?
On request I can teach the basic techniques of (tantric) massage,
preferably in pair.
You and your partner (or occasional partner) can also learn how to
massage each other in my massage room, on my massage table. As well men as
women are welcome. You will be massaged alternately while the other person is
shown how to do it. This last one can then exercise on his partner. We work in
sessions of 3 hours. Price can be agreed.
