Hello guys,
Heres another post in my blog.
I didn't want to wake up really early today so instead of fishing at
dawn we went in the evening. Next on my list of goals was catching a fish on
the Dender, so we went to the Dender just outside Geraardsbergen. We installed
ourselves next to a bridge on the side of the river. The baiting of the hook
has become routine now. But this time because we are fishing on a river we have
to weight our line with some tin. This will avoid the line from drifting with
the stream.
One hour later, we still didn't catch anything. My friends think it's
because there is too much noise from the cars driving over the bridge. So we
went a little bit further away from it and surprisingly after five minutes my
friend already saw his bobber going under. He wanted to let me pull the fish in
but unfortunately the fish escaped. My friend told me I kept my line to loose
causing the fish to be able to unhook itself.
We stayed for another half an hour but didnt catch anything. Pity I couldnt
complete my goal but I didnt really care because I still had a great time.
