Kelly Brianne Clarkson werd geboren op 24 april 1982 in de Amerikaanse staat Texas, waar ze haar jeugd doorbracht. Will.I.Am en Apl.de.Ap ontmoeten elkaar in 1989 tijdens hun studie in Los Angeles.. Ze richten samen de groep Atban Klann op, waarin Atban voor A Tribe Beyond A Nation staat. Ze worden begin jaren negentig ontdekt door NWA-rapper Eazy E, die op dat moment Ruthless Records leidt. Hij haalt ze bij het label binnen, maar dat leidt tot veel onbegrip bij andere medewerkers binnen het bedrijf. Ruthless Records staat bekend om zijn gangsterrappers en de positief ingestelde breakdancers van Atban passen daar helemaal niet bij. Na de dood van Eazy E heeft het tweetal niets meer te zoeken bij Ruthless Records en de verbintenis wordt verbroken. Een album dat Will.I.Am en Apl.de.Ap al hadden opgenomen, wordt niet meer uitgebracht.
De twee rappers laten zich niet uit het veld slaan en gaan door met waar ze goed in zijn. Tijdens hun zoektocht naar een nieuwe platenmaatschappij komen ze breakdancer Taboo tegen. Het klikt goed en zo wordt het tweetal een trio. Het trio gaat onder de naam The Black Eyed Peas verder en die naam brengt ze geluk. Ze tekenen een megacontract met Interscope Records. In 1998 verschijnt hun debuutalbum 'Behind The Front'. De stijl op dit album is te vergelijken met die van The Roots. Dat wil zeggen: de drie MC's rappen mee met een liveband. 'Joints & Jam', de eerste single van dit album wordt een bescheiden hitje en op het nummer 'Weekends' herkennen we de stem van Macy Gray. Black Eyed Peas maken nogmaals gebruik van haar speciale stemgeluid op het nummer 'Request Line' dat op het tweede album van de groep, 'Bridging The Gap', staat. Dit album plaatst The Black Eyed Peas is het rijtje van A Tribe Called Quest en De La Soul.
Will.I.Am is ondertussen in het hip-hop circuit van Los Angeles zangeres Fergie tegengekomen. De twee kunnen het goed vinden en Fergie wordt uitgenodigd om eens een opnamesessie bij te wonen. Het klikt goed en Fergie wordt bij de groep gevoegd. Als viertal nemen ze hun derde en tot nu toe meest succesvolle album op: 'Elephunk'. 'Where's The Love', waarop ook Justin Timberlake te horen is, wordt een enorme wereldhit en bereikt de nummer 1-positie in Nederland. Nog voordat deze hit uit de Top 40 zakt dient de volgende hit zich alweer aan: 'Shut Up'. Sterker, beide singles verblijven een maand lang samen in 'de enige echte'. 'Let's get it started' (originele titel 'Let's Get Retarted') is single nummer drie en blijkt één van de grootste hits van de zomer van 2004.

Robert Peter Williams, geboren op 13 februari 1974, groeide samen met zijn zusje Sally op in het Britse Stoke-On Trent. Hij is één van de grootste popzangers van dit moment.
Robert Peter Williams, geboren op 13 februari 1974, groeide samen met zijn zusje Sally op in het Britse Stoke-On Trent. Zijn vader en moeder runden een pub The red Lion. Toen Robbie 3 jaar oud was gingen zijn ouders scheiden en leefde hij alleen met zijn moeder en zus verder in Stoke. Op een dag zag zijn moeder een advertentie staan in de krant waarin ze jonge zangtalenten zochten en spoorde Robbie aan om auditie te doen. Dit zou later het begin blijken van zijn succesverhaal. Hij werd samen met vier anderen jongens uitgekozen en Take That was geboren.
Take That had een overweldigend succes met 15 miljoen verkochte singles en 8 nummer 1 hits. Maar Robbie paste hoe langer hoe minder in het Take That bandje en de rebel besloot in 1995 uit te groep te stappen en te starten met een eigen solo-carriere.
Na zijn split met de band ontspoorde Robbie volledig en bracht hij zijn tijd vooral door met beruchte feestgangers als Liam Gallagher (Oasis) en Goldie Hawn. Biografie
Marshall Bruce Mathers III, beter bekend als Eminem is geboren in de Amerikaanse staat Missouri. Al op jonge leeftijd begon Em met rappen. Hij viel op door zijn stijl en dat resulteerde uiteindelijk in zijn eerste solo-album. Hierna volgden nog meer albums, hits, awards en de hoofdrol in de op zijn leven gebaseerde film '8 Mile.'
Zijn voorlaatst uitgebrachte album Encore, bevatte onder meer tracks i.s.m 50 Cent, Dr. Dre en D-12. Na het album The Eminem Show (2002) is Encore het eerste album dat uitsluitend nieuw materiaal bevat.
Op dit moment heeft Eminem wereldwijd miljoenen platen verkocht en is hij daarme één van 's werelds succesvolste rappers. December 2005 komt Eminem daarom met een best of album genaamd "Curtain Call." Op deze CD vind je zijn grootste hits, zoals "My Name Is", "The Real Slim Shady", "Lose Yourself" en "Stan".
Daarnaast doen de geruchten dat "Curtain Call" Em's laatste album wordt, de rapper zou op zijn hoogtepunt willen stoppen. De single "When I'm Gone" van het best of album lijkt met zijn titel ons al enigszins te willen voorbereiden op zijn vertrek.

Pink groeide op als rebelse tiener, die niets van haar moeder moest weten. Haar vader was een soldaat in de Vietnamoorlog. Ze had vroeger erge last van astma. Om haar ademritmes en stem onder controle te krijgen moest ze zanglessen volgen. Al snel wist ze wat haar favoriete schoolvak was, muziek. Haar grote idool was Jon Bon Jovi.
In 2000 kwam haar doorbraak met de hit There you go van haar album Can't take me home. Uit dat album volgden de hits Most girls en You make me sick.
Haar grootste succes kende ze met haar tweede album M!ssundaztood dat in 2001 uitkwam. Het door Linda Perry geschreven Get the party started leverde talrijke awards op, waaronder die voor beste nieuwkomer op de MTV-awards in 2001. Later volgden de hits Don't let me get me, Just like a pill en Family Portrait. Na dit lied, dat over de voor haar pijnlijke scheiding van haar ouders ging, verzoende ze zich met haar moeder.
Pink is op 7 januari2006 op Costa Rica getrouwd met de Amerikaanse motorcrosser Carey Hart. Van hem kreeg ze haar een hondje, Fucker.
In september 2003 kwam haar derde album uit Try This. Van dit album komen de hits Feel good time, Trouble, God is a DJ en Last to know. In vergelijking met het vorige album niet zo een groot succes.
Begin 2006 kwam haar nieuwe single "Stupid Girls" uit. Deze single is een verwijzing naar de nieuwe trend dat vrouwen zich dommer voordoen dan ze zijn. In April 2006 kwam haar nieuwe album uit genaamd "I'm Not Dead" en kwam nieuw binnen op nummer 5 in de Album Top 100. Ter gelegenheid van de promotie van dit album gaf ze een "geheim" optreden in Amsterdam. In september 2006 begint haar nieuwe wereldtour en op 14 oktober (in Ahoy) en 6 december (HMH) 2006 zal zij in Nederland optreden.

De rapper woensdag in de Amerikaanse stad Detroit een scheiding aan, meldden Amerikaanse media. Eminem scheidt dus al voor de tweede keer van zijn vrouw Kim. Het stel hertrouwde in januari dit jaar. Eminem lijkt depressief te zijn. De stoere rapper heeft zich teruggetrokken in zijn villa en neemt de telefoon niet meer op, zelfs niet als vrienden bellen...
Madonna
Kinderen houden huwelijk Madonna in stand
Echt geschokt zal niemand zijn door dit nieuws, want al langer gaan er geruchten dat het huwelijk van de superster en haar fillmregisseur niet optimaal is. Enkele weken geleden werd Madonna veel gespot met de regisseur van haar nieuwe videoclip Sorry.
Op dit moment zit het koppel in Los Angeles waar ze in alle rust kunnen praten over hun problemen. Volgens John Ritchie gaat het hun daar goed af. 'Madonna en Guy willen maar een ding en dat is gelukkig leven.'
Volgens John is er echter geen garantie dat ze bij elkaar blijven maar ze proberen het in de eerste instantie voor de kinderen. 'Lourdes en Rocco betekenen alles voor die twee.' (12 april)
De sugababes
Ze zijn bekend en populair en kunnen daarom niet achterblijven: de Sugababes krijgen een eigen realitysoap.
Het Britse trio krijgt een eigen realityshow van in totaal zes weken. Get close to... Sugababes, zoals de serie heet, wordt echter niet op televisie uitgezonden, maar op de mobiele telefoon. Voor ongeveer 70 eurocent kunnen Britse fans van de Sugababes een aflevering ontvangen om hun mobieltje.
In de show worden beelden getoond van onder andere de tournee van Robbie Williams, waar de meidengroep in het voorprogramma optreden.

Er gingen al eerder geruchten in de ronde en die geruchten blijken nu dus waar te zijn. Acht maanden na de geboorte van haar eerste zoontje is ze vijf maanden in verwachting. Britney en haar man Kevin trouwden in september 2004 en een jaar later werd hun eerste kindje geboren. Zoontje Sean Preston krijgt er binnenkort dus een broertje of zusje bij. Kevin heeft al een zoontje en dochtertje uit een eerdere relatie. (10 mei 2006)
De Amerikaanse actrice en zangeres, Jennifer Lopez, wil koste wat kost het boek van haar ex-man Ojani Noa tegenhouden. De ster vreest dat het boek 'negatieve en lasterlijke' details over haar bevat.
Om de publicatie van het boek tegen te houden daagt ze hem voor de rechter. Momenteel loopt Noa uitgeverijen af om zijn boek uit te geven. Het stel trouwde in 1997, maar helaas duurde hun geluk niet langer dan elf maanden. Noa heeft al wel laten weten voor vijf miljoen dollar het boek niet te publiceren. Er gaan geruchten dat Robbie Williams een nieuwe liefde. Het zou gaan om de 21-jarige Minki van der Westhuizen, een topmodel in Zuid-Afrika.
De twee hebben elkaar ontmoet op een feestje in Cape Town. Vrienden van de zanger zeggen dat hij helemaal dol is op de mooie Minki. Een bron zei tegen een Brits tijdschrift dat het liefde op het eerst gezicht was. 'Het gesprek viel geen minuut stil en ze vermaakten zich uitstekend.' Robbie is een superster en Minki is een populair model in Zuid-Afrika. De zanger is in het land om een nieuwe videoclip op te nemen. Minki heeft voorgesteld om hem een tour door het land te geven. Robbie's muziek maakt baby's slimmer
Vorsers aan de Weense Universiteit ontdekten dat Robbies muziek herinnert aan het ritme van het moederhart waardoor kinderen rustiger worden en hun leergierigheid vergroot. Ze deden de test met nummers als 'Rock DJ' en 'Kids'. De nummers hebben melodieën die zorgen voor een lager stressgehalte en een hogere leercapaciteit. Robbie maakt babys dus slimmer Ook muziekdeuntjes van Mel B en Norah Jones hebben hetzelfde effect.
Beroemdheden houden er rare kleedkamerwensen op na. Zo willen sommigen een kamer vol bloemen, champagne, een gloednieuwe wc-bril, peperduur mineraalwater of honderden brandende kaarsjes. Pink heeft ook zo haar wensen...
De zangeres wil namelijk voor elk optreden een paaldans paal in haar kleedkamer hebben, zodat ze haar man Carey Hart een privé-show kan geven. Zangeres Pink heeft een brief gestuurd aan de Engelse Koningin Elizabeth II. In haar brief verzoekt ze de koningin om haar paleiswachters geen bont meer te laten dragen.
Pink vindt het onnodig dat deze mannen hoofddeksels van bont dragen. In elke hoed worden volgens haar één tot twee Canadese beren verwerkt en nepbont zou net zo geschikt zijn.
De woordvoerder van de brigade van wachters zegt best van het bont af te willen stappen, mits er een geschikt alternatief is. Volgens hem is dat er vooralsnog niet.
De zangeres is al langere tijd voorvechtster van dierenrechten. Kort geleden voerde ze nog actie tegen fastfoodketen Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Hij is weg bij zijn vriendin en moet daarom weer bij zijn moeder intrekken, die op het woonwagenkamp van 8 mile bivakkeert. Zijn moeder heeft echter een nieuwe vriend, die ongeveer zijn leeftijd is, en het klikt totaal niet. Toch zijn er mensen die in hem geloven, die denken dat hij zone 313 in Detroit nog beroemd kan maken.
