howdy
how is everyone doing? What has been happening in the last few weeks, well to tell you the truth, i don't really know.... No, just kidding. there are a few things that are going on and will go on, but later more on that.
The last few weeks have been pretty good actually. I have started doing already a lot of things, seeing a lot of LA again, and exploring new things as well. A couple of weeks ago, someone from Belgium who is studying in Seattle with afs send me a mail, purely coincidence, that he found me on a site with an entry of "studying abroad in LA". i answered and over the next few days, we met up in santa monica. We started talking and i was his guide for LA... i found out that he's from Lanaken, not far from where my aunt lives, so thats good, definitely worth the visit! I showed him and 2 other girls around la a bit. Yuri who was on holidays here and then Tessa, a new student from Sweden, and Anna, also a new student from Austria. Like that, it's easy to go around and show them all the places you've seen, but also a good chance to see everything again... I showed them the 'Hollywood walk of fame', the handprints in the cement at Mann's Chinese theatre, the hollywood sign from the Kodak Theatre. Thats the real touristy stuff.... . But afterwards, we went to one of my favorites, The grove. I dont know why, but I just love that place, even when its in the middle of the city, it is so relaxing to go there. Like Ive said before, everybody who comes here, I will take them there! After that we went to The imax, thats a cinema but instead of having a normal sized screen, the screen is 18meters high
they call it The IMAX-Experience. Because it feels like you are in the middle of the film, and the views you see are just incredible!!! From the movie, batman, The Dark Knight there is a scene that you see a city in China, you would believe that you are flying above it, so realistic!
