Royal Antwerp FC was relegated in 2004 to the second division in Belgian football. This season is the first season they are back at the highest level and everybody will know.
Between 2004 and 2017 there are 13 years. Thirteen years without much visibility in Belgian football. They missed the whole social media hype from the very beginning, and now you see that they want to keep up with all those years of invisibility. Since a couple of months I see that RAFC are putting as much money as possible in adverstisements on social media. I saw their followers on Facebook grow from 65 thousand to 91 thousand in only 3 months. They bought some players who already made themselves a name, for example Jelle Van Damme and they are 'using' him as a product to attract more people to the stadium and their pages.
Also they are building a new stand and are using a high quality video crew to capture all fun moments through the week.
