This is the little story and my feeling work with the chilren.
Before I work in children foundation, I was worked in Germany company as stock controller staff.
This company promised me a good career and prosperity.
Ketut also work in the hotel as a front office manager but we always give our time to help the children and teach them english. At the night I do the administration.
More and more children come to the children foundation asking for help, it mean we has lot to do for the children to prepare the information of the children. Then Ketut resign from his job in Hotel.
After 6 month work in Germany company, the director of the company promoted me as a stock controll Manager, but at the same day Ketut need me to work with the children for full time to handle administration and book keeping of the yayasan as we have a new system " Child sponsoring system". The system is very good but difficult enough and lot to do because each children have one sponsor and all of them is responsibility with their comunication with their sponsor,handle their book keeping and report the book keeping to the sponsor every 3 month, also many volunteer come to help.
Then I decided to resign from Germany company and work with the children. The owner of the Germany company asked me to back work in his company if one day I need job or any reason.
The main reason of why I choose to work in children foundation is I thought that I will be more usefull if I work for the children because in Bali it is difficult to find people who like to working social because they get more salary in the company. But I think if no one like to do social work what will happen with the children ? There will be no opportunity for the orphan and poor children to get education even they are willing hard to learn at school, without education they will fall into poverty and this will be happen from generation to generation.
My heart asked me to work with the children and I did it.
At my first time work in children foundation, I feel very happy and have big energy as I saw all of children are very antusistic to learn and they are really good children.
The first,I help the childen how to send email to the sponsor and how to make book keeping. After 3 month I teach them now they can do that with theirself and now the big kids like to help me to teach the new kids to send email and make their book keeping.
I am really happy work for the children and I am very happy to see their progress.
Like Suci one of the kids, she was very shy and unconfidence when she come to our place at the first time but now I see she is very confidence and cheerfull, of course I am very happy and proud.
I am very enjoy to work with the children.I know that do social working will not make me rich, but I feel very rich in my heart.
