De laatste dagen...
De laatste dagen aan de New York Film Academie zijn heel goed verlopen. Donderdag hadden we een algemene repetitie en ook technische repetitie van scene study. 's Avonds hadden we onze voorstelling die we voor een uitverkochte zaal hebben gespeeld en die goed is verlopen. Vrijdag hadden we nog 2 vakken te gaan. We begonnen met gevechtstechnieken. Hierin hebben nog een paar nieuwe blokeringstechnieken geleerd en hebben we dit in de bestaande gevechtschoreografie ingevuld. Daarna was het tijd voor Business of Acting. Dit was de allerlaatste les en hebben hier in gesproken over hoe de acteerwereld hier in America in elkaar zit! Zaterdag was dan de grote dag!! Eerst hadden we receptie en daarna was het tijd om onze eindfilmpjes te presenteren. Na dit was het tijd voor de uitreiking van de Diploma's. Na dit zijn ben ik nog met de bende de stad in getrokken maar heb het niet al te laat gemaakt want maandag vlieg ik naar Peru waar ik een Thesis ga opnemen. Ik ga hier uiteraard jullie van dit avontuur hier ook op de hoogte houden! De foto's van de dat en de uitreiking diploma's volgen nog!!
The last days at the New York Film Academy went pretty good. Thursday we had the last rehearsal and technical rehearsal from scene study. In the evening we had our performance for a full house and it went very well!! Friday we had 2 classes left. We started with Combat for film. In this we learned a few new blocking techniques and menage it in our fight choreography. After that it was time for business of Acting. This was our last class and we discussed how the acting industry is here in America. Saturday was the big day! First we had a reception and after that it was time to show are final scene on the screen. After that the acting for film teacher gave our diploma's. After that I went with my classmates into the city but I didnt make it long because on monday I'm flying to Peru where I'm gonna shoot a theses. I will keep you informed of this adventure in the next few days! And the photo's of that and the graduation are following!!
Het kort nu wel af! nog 3 dagen te gaan! Vandaag begonnen we met scène study, hierin hebben we nog snel een doorloop gedaan in de klas! morgen zal er een doorloop zijn in de screening room! en dan de presentatie 's avonds! Daarna hadden we een 3u durende pauze. Hierin hebben we mijn klasgenoot Jordan, zijn mama ontmoet! we zijn samen gaan lunchen en een dank gaat naar haar uit want ze heeft getrakteerd!! Daarna was het tijd voor Business of Acting. Hierin hebben we een auditie gedaan van een monoloog. Dit gaan we vrijdag bekijken en bespreken. Daarna zijn we met een groot deel naar de presentatie van Maart A gaan kijken. Morgen is het onze beurt en probeer jullie op de hoogte te houden maar we gaan nog feesten achteraf!!
It is gonna fast now!! 3 days to go! Today we started with scene study. In this we did a run through in the class. Tomorrow we will have our final rehearsal and technical rehearsal in the screening room. And then our final presentation in the evening! After the class we had a 3 hour break. We have met Jordan's mom and went together for a lunch with the most of the class and she was so sweet that she treat us!!! After that is was time for business of acting. In this we did an monologue audition. We gonna watch this on Friday and discuss it! After that we went with a lot of people to the presentation of March A. Tomorrow it is our turn and I 'm gonna try to keep you posted but We are gonna party after that so I do my best!!
Het begint nu wel heel erg af te korten!! Nog 4 dagen en dan misschien afgestudeerd! Maar vandaag was het een hele zware dag. We begonnen heel luchtig met improvisatie. Hierin hebben we een ontbijt les van gemaakt om zo afscheid te nemen van onze laatste les. En hebben ook gesproken over de industrie hier in Amerika. Daarna hadden we scene study. Hierin hebben we een doorloopje gedaan van onze scenes voor de presentatie van donderdag! Daarna hadden we Business of Acting. Hierin hadden we een nieuwe leerkracht en hebben we heel veel over de business gepraat! Morgen staat er een rare dag op het programma met een break van 3u! Maar dat is voor morgen!
It is coming really close now!! 4 days until I maybe graduate here!! but today it was a tough day! We started with Improv but we had for our last class an breakfast class. We talked also about the industry with a nice breakfast! After that we had scene study and we did a run threw our scenes for our presentation on thursday. After that we had business of Acting with a new teacher. And we talked a lot about business. Tomorrow there will be a strange day on the schedule because we have a break of 3 hours. But that is for tomorrow!!
Vandaag is onze laatste week begonnen maar ik vermoed dat je vrijdag en het weekend nog tegoed hebt! Vrijdag begonnen we met gevechtstechnieken. Hierin hebben we nieuwe technieken aangeleerd zoals vasthouden en blokkeren. Daarna hadden we Acteren voor business hierin hebben we een profiel schets gedaan van welke acteur je rollen speelt en met wie je je zou kunnen vergelijken. Dit was tevens ook onze laatste les met deze leerkracht wat we wel raar vonden omdat hij opnames heeft maar dit eerder had aangegeven en nu ineens omdat hij 2 lessen miste niet meer aan ons mocht lesgeven. Het weekend was vrij rustig met zondag natuurlijk de verkiezingen live gekeken via de livestream van de VRT! En heb mij ziek gelachen om sommige politici. Want ze snappen het nog steeds niet. Ik hou mijn hart vast voor 2014!! Vandaag hadden we stem en bewegingsleer wat dus tevens ook onze laatste les was! Hierin hebben we eigenlijk een compositie gemaakt! en ook gepresenteerd. Daarna ben ik naar Brooklyn gegaan om daar een opname te doen van een Semester film van een juli regisseur. Voila de 1e dag van de laatste week zit erop!! Ben benieuwd want zaterdag zou ik kunnen afstuderen! Ben benieuwd!
Today our last week started but I suppose I must tell you still from friday and the weekend. Friday we started with combat for film. In this we learned some new techniques Holding and Blocking. After that we had acting for business. In this we did a profile study so we know who steal our roles and also how you compare you with a famous actor. This was also our last class with this teacher because, and I find it strange, he had a shooting going on and he also asked then in advantage and now suddenly because he is missing 2 classes he can't teach us anymore. The weekend was easy because nothing much happened and I also followed the election on the Livestream from the channel VRT. And I laughed a lot because some politics people still don't get it. And I holding my heart for 2014 if they still continue govern how they do now! Today we had our last class voice and movement. In this we made a composition and present it to our other classmates. After that I went to Brooklyn to shoot a semester film for a 1year july director. So our first day of the last week is done! I'm curious if I can graduate on saturday!! So Excited!!!
