The Jonas Brothers: It's a dream come true to work together

The Jonas Brothers have said it's a "dream come true" that they are all able to work together.

Brothers Kevin, 21, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16, were originally dropped from their record label when their first album failed to sell. Kevin said: "It was a tough moment but it all worked out."

The boys are now one of the biggest boy bands on the planet and Joe admitted it's a dream they have all been able to work together.

He said: "We all had a different road to the place where we are now. Nick was on Broadway and we were all doing commercials. We wanted to work in showbusiness in some way, but never expected this - we didn't ever think we would get to be three brothers in a band. It's a dream come true."

The Jonas Brothers were warned off sex – by their mum.

Denise Jonas, who urges her Disney star sons to wear chastity rings, taught them that abstinence is the key to "safe sex", she says in a new interview.

But she knows that the teen idols will be tempted. So she says she prays for them.

She said: "They are men. They have desires.

"They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I'm not going to hate them. I don't think they are above or below being seduced. I would be foolish if I thought that. I pray for them."

Mum Denise also makes sure there is no rock 'n roll behaviour while the boys are on the road.

"She makes us be careful in the hotel room," says 17-year-old Nick Jonas of his mother's etiquette rules. "[She makes us] put back the towels, straighten the bed."

Nick, Joe, 19, and Kevin, 21, pose with their mother in the latest issue of Good Housekeeping magazine in the United States.

And they say that any prospective dates must pass their 'mother test' before going out with the lads.

"People always ask, 'What's a girl have to do to get your attention?'" said Joe.

"[I say] she has to be good to Mom [sic].

It comes after Lady GaGa said she would like to have a foursome with the brothers.

Kevin Jonas and fiancee Danielle Deleasa celebrate their engagement at their favorite pizza parlor in Los Angeles on Friday night (July 3).

The newly engaged couple was joined by 30 of their closest friends and family including the other Jonas Brothers, Joe and Nick.

On Wednesday, Kevin proposed to Danielle at her doorstep in New Jersey with a diamond ring (3-carat solitaire cushion-cut diamond, surrounded by 210 round brilliant-cut pave diamonds).

Nick Jonas might be the youngest third of teen phenomenon band the Jonas Brothers at 16, but it seems he's already got his priorities straight when it comes to speaking out about juvenile diabetes.

Nick, who revealed he has Type 1 diabetes in 2007, first met with President Barack Obama at the White House for a photo with the commander-in-chief and children living with diabetes.

He then attended a meeting set up by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Children's Congress on Capitol Hill in the office of Democrat Sen. Frank Lautenberg from New Jersey. Nick and his brothers Kevin and Joe created the Change for the Children Foundation, which donates money to charities benefiting children who are disadvantaged or ill.

He's also scheduled to testify today before a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on federal funding for diabetes research.

For the second time in 10 months, pop trio The Jonas Brothers have topped the charts, with their latest effort, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, selling 247,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

These boys are laughing all the way to the bank.

“I think people don’t realize that when they’re making fun of us, we’re laughing too,” middle brother Joe tells Rolling Stone in the July 9 issue. “Every South Park or whatever, it’s like, ‘That’s hilarious.’”

Eldest sibling Kevin, 21, agrees. “I heard it all going through high school. So it’s like, whatever, throw your shots. At the end of the day, I know who I am as a person.”

Hip-hop’s Biggest Egomaniac Meets Pop’s Most Annoying Teen Trio…..

The Jonas Brothers are hoping to team up with hip-hop star Kanye West for a mash-up remix of their single “Paranoid” and ‘Ye’s track of the same name.

The sibling trio released the hit in the U.S. last month, while West’s track hit airwaves early this year.

Baby bro Nick Jonas would love to hook up with the Grammy Award-winning star in a bid to put a different spin on the two tunes.

“We want to do a mash-up of (both Paranoid songs). So, if (Kanye)’s watching, I think it’d be awesome!” the 16-year-old crooner said in an interview with MTV News on Tuesday.
