SONG REVIEW Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! - We R Who We R
Okay so this is a review of an album i recently bought called Punk Goes Pop 4. The album has released half way novembre (round the 15th i think).
So to talk a lil about the album first. The Punk Goes series are an awesome set of CD's (huge recommendations for the holidays). It's different bands covering some really famous songs like We R Who We R or F**k You or 'Till the world ends and others.
But today I'm talking about Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! 's cover of Ke$ha's song We R Who We R. Listen to the song here.
The song is made into a more punk/metal version which i actually like. Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! has a special genre. It's metal with some pepper in the butt. They've got power and the singer's voice is special which actually makes the band in a good combo.
Also the song gets a special touch this way. They play it more heavier, which i like. The song gets lifted to a new level and yeah i like both version a lot.
I give the song a good 4 stars out of 5! Be sure to let me know what you think and rate! Thanks A Lot!
Today I picked a different genre I normally don't listen to this genre but i bumped into it recently. By actually thinking of an A-capella cover someone did. So yeah to quit the chip chap talking. The song I'll be reviewing today is Paradise by Coldplay you can view the music video here.
I love the aspect that thew shot the video in South Africa and in London! Also the elephant trying to earn money to buy a bike and he ends up with a unicycle.
To go to the review of the song. The song starts of really slowly but in a relaxed mode. Then the drums get in and it's more fun and more energized. When Chris sings, the song is officially started and gets to a new level. The song is really good to listen to when you're having a drive to somewhere. Or just need to be relaxed. I actually like the song a lot. Even though i hardly listen to coldplay and don't really like a lot of their songs. This one is really good and keeps me listening to it so a good job by them!
I give the song a good 3,5 stars out of 5! And be sure to buy the song on iTunes and also the album Mylo Xyloto.
Thanks for reading and be sure to leave me some comments/suggestions/...
Also if you wanna check out the cover i talked out at the beginning go here! It's by an awesome guy who only uses his voice and mouth to make music!!
