The Price Of Admission Into Your Destiny
Adversity is the price of admission into your destiny. No seminary can prepare you for the adversity that will come into your life at your crucial turning points. There will be times in your life, as in mine, that the magnetic pole of your earth will shift and you will be shaking your head, not knowing what in the world has happened.
There has to be a death and a burial before there is a resurrection. Every aspect of your life will see these turning points before you enter your destiny. There will be a going down before there is a coming up. When John the Baptist said that he must decrease so that Jesus could increase, he understood that the collapse of his own hour would signal fulfillment of destiny in his own life. He came to bear witness of the Light. When that began to happen, John's own ministry decreased. When he began to behold Jesus, his own ministry began to fade. He was decreasing and Jesus was increasing.
That's why you should never have a break down when it looks like everything is breaking down. Don't be intimidated when people say that you are not progressing...that you are going backward. Because God has a plan. He knows why some people had to leave you and others had to find you. He knows why your heart had to be broken, so that He could heal it so that He could strengthen for the next leg of your race. "He must increase and I must decrease." John 3:30 "He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light." John 1:8
Let me briefly encourage you, precious Body of Christ. Some of you are wondering how that God's plan for your life will ever come to pass. Don't worry about it. When you, like John the Baptist, come into the shift that God has ordained for your heavenly purpose on this earth, you will have to let flesh die. You will have to deflate so that He can inflate. You will have to collapse so that He can be built up. John the Baptist was one of those rare individuals who could make the shift into his next dimension.
Jesus is not into building our ministries, but He is involved in building people. The only ministries that will survive the shift in the Kingdom of God will be those who have been so totally broken by Him that we only live to see the mission of Jesus fulfilled as is stated in Luke 4. This tells us why the Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus.
Luke 4:18, 19 AMP - The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day [l]when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.
The price of admission into your destiny is the total collapse of all your personal dreams and ambitions and the lifting up of Jesus Christ throughout all the world. Sometimes your dream has to die for your destiny to live!
Whatever it takes to get there, let it happen. Stop struggling with it and let it happen. Stop fighting and yield to the Lord in this process. He has His hand on the steering wheel. Let Him drive. Little by little, let Him work His work. You don't see everything now but stay faithful and He will show you and reveal things to you as He wills. He is a strategic God and has set a plan in motion, even before the world began.
Dig your heels into Jesus, because the next part of your life will yield the greatest fruit. The prophecies upon your life are not lies. Don't try to do what you did in the past. God is doing a new thing. Make the shift with Him. The price of admission into your destiny will be your decrease. Out of that, you will find that what you used to love to do, you no longer have the desire to do it. Even tho, John the Baptist, at the time, was doing what he should have been doing, when Jesus came on the scene at the baptismal waters, John knew that his time of collapse was at hand. It was time for Jesus to increase.
Don't fight the shift in the season of God. Let it happen. You were not born to do your own thing, but you were born to lift up Jesus. And when we finally learn to lift Him up,the fulfillment of our destinies will be at hand!
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
He has already been lifted up on the cross of Calvary -- now, let's lift Him up in totality in every dimension of life! Be Encouraged - The Lord has you under constant surveillance!
