Even with the Capitals' 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Wednesday night - the team's first regulatory loss since Oct. 10 against Nashville - the Capitals still have a league-leading 36 points through 24 games.
Evgeny Kuznetsov wore Cheap NHL Suits and Tom Wilson said they would take the president's trophy, superstition or not. Wilson said the team is trying to win as many matches as possible to score points and will "cross that bridge" with the president's trophy when it gets there.
