We left Brussels with approx 20 minutes delay and had a very relax and pleasant flight to Istanbul. We managed to get seats together just with a corridor separating us. I met with an elderly lady who was on her way to the Northern part of Cyprus. Although she us a Belgian and dutchspeaking, she was reading in English a pocket of Clive Cussler just as i was. That's how we got talking. She had been living in Istanbul and told me that it's a wonderful city to visit. This is on my list of citytrips now. Now we are in a lounge in Istanbul waiting for our connecting flight.
We are all 3 looking forward to Kathmandu.
Well we got here at 10h30 in the morning (local time). That's 3h30 later then foreseen. Beautiful views we had from the airplane window.
Visa documents and visa took a lot of time.... And eventuelly we got out and met our guide.
After we got to the hotel we went exploring and then met with the rest of tbe group.
we tried our bikes and are now enjoying drinks at the hotel terrace all together.

Tomorrow our journey starts. We will be flying from Brussels to Istamboul and then from there to Kathmandu where we will arrive on Sunday morning 6h55 local taking into account that Kathmandu is 5 h ahead of brussels.
