All the things I love to eat. . . Steak, Pork Chops, Shrimp Scampi, Stuffed Shells, Lasagna, Chicken, all kinds of stuff. Every year my mom has made Christmas Cookies, and given them to all of our friends and neighbors. I think I may actually give it a shot myself this year. Recently, for the first time ever I made a whole roasted chicken. It actually turned out quite well! It was so moist that I may make a whole turkey this year, too.
I have overcooked several very expensive pieces of meat. It happens to me occasionally. I' ve become a pretty good cook, but for some reason, occasionally my mind just wanders and then I look in the oven and dinner is charred and crispy.

This is seriously one of the most delicious soups I have ever made. Here are my modifications: & # 10; - I used a whole small butternut squash& # 10; - minced the onion, carrot and celery as I don' t really like chunky onion and celery in my soups& # 10; - used 1 can of chipotle peppers and one can of mild green chiles& # 10; - used 1 quart of vegetable broth& # 10; - added a can of black beans in addition to the cannellini beans& # 10; & # 10; I really LOVE lime so when I served it I actually used half a of lime for each bowl. My husband said it was awesome. & # 10; & # 10; I will most definitely make this again.

I can' t believe that I' ve never reviewed this. I am addicted to these! I see myself always having cravings for these yummy little appy' s. I do like to lighten this up a bit and it doesn' t sacrifice flavor at all. I use light cream cheese and instead of mayo, I use fat free sour cream. I don' t normally use the full package of italian seasoning. A third of the packet is normally zesty enough with the brand I use.
I do add in a little dill as well into the dip. This dip alone is great for veggies, chips, etc!
I do toast my baguette slices to give them a slight crunch. After pulling out when they are still warm, I slightly drizzle with a little EVOO and take a garlic clove and rub all over the tops. The combination and texture of the crunchy toasts, the zesty topping, and the fresh cucumbers and dill, compliment each other so well!
They are delish!

The glaze give a wonderful sheen to the bird. A great addition to the menu is wild mushroom stuffing, cranberry sauce with raspberry vinegar, mashed sweet potatoes, rutabaga and parsnip casserole, green beans with walnuts, date and onion relish, pear chutney, and of course, pumpkin pie and butterscotch pie. If you don' t have fresh thyme, substitute 1/ 2 teaspoon dried thyme.

AMAZING! ! Changed just a few things. I used western style bone in Pork ribs( thats what I had) . I put all the sauce ingerdients in the crockpot then put ribs in meatier side up and cooked on high for about 5 hours. I found the salt content way to salty so I added a can of chopped tomatoes juice and all and then added a dash more of each spice.
I also added half a potato to the sauce while cooking because I had heard it would soak up extra salt and it worked. I used 2 reviewers suggestions one was adding minced garlic to the sauce( about 2 tblsp) . The other suggestion I used was makinh homemade garlic mashed potatoes to serve it over. When It was done I took out the meat removed it from the bone and removed any fat I could.
I then skimmed all the fat off the top of the sauce I could. Then I added 1 can of tomato paste and whisked it in and it made a fantastic sauce. I think it would be fantastic w/ rice. The best part about this recipe is the unbelievable flavor of these ingredients mixed together as well as there simplicity. Best sauce Ive ever made. Will make over and over for use in other dishes.
I may also add more brown sugar next time. It takes along time for the ingredients to meld while cooking so be patient and dont start adding things right away. Definetly a keeper.
