Curriculum Vitae of Rudi Saelens
Rudi Saelens graduated as a civil engineer electromechanics (VUB) and specialised in nuclear engineering ( KUL) , financial engineering (Vlekho) and business management ( Vlerick). He has more then 20 year is business experience in power generation and utility business, from gas-electricity distribution, grid-network protection, nuclear reactor engineering, maintenance of rotating machines, asset management and risk management. He has extended experience in knowledge and expert systems, project management, change management ,strategic planning and strategic problem solving. He implemented risk and asset management in the biggest power generation company in Belgium, the 2 biggest network operators in Belgium and is presently implementing asset management in a power generating company in Poland. Rudi speaks fluent Dutch, French and English he can manage in German and has basic understanding of Italian.
