De oudste sporen van de familienaam "Le Compte " zijn teruggevonden in de streek van de Languedoc in Frankrijk omstreeks 1600 Volgens mondelinge overleveringen zouden ze via Noord Frankrijk in België zijn gekomen. De oudste sporen in België tot heden zijn gevonden te Olsene. Via Nazareth verspreidde de familie zich in het Aalsterse. Opmerkelijk is dat stamvader Pieter Lecompte zijn naam aan elkaar wordt geschreven, terwijl de Aalsterse familietak hun naam als Le Compte wordt geschreven en dit vanaf de kinderen van Henricus Lecompte. Aan de hand van geboorteakten kunnen wij aantonen dat deze verschrijving is gebeurd bij de intrede in Nazareth of bij de geboorte der kinderen in Nazareth .
Wat betekent mijn naam? Anita: Komt uit het Hebreeuwse Hanna, in de Griekse vorm Annia. Dit staat voor lieflijke en vergevingsgezinde. Le Compte: Verschrijving van de Franse naam Le Comte = De Graaf.

Oh inge and leila! Sorry about that back there, i was just really upset that day because someone in my class was being really mean to me and kept saying to me that i was the dumbest in class, but she really is! Then after that my computer broke down! So i was really upset, and then i remembered that i still wanted to write to you, but i was so upset, that i didn't really find the way to write that tekst! How is everything doing! I just really wanted to say that you made a mistake inge, it's actually Dekempeneer, not Dekempenaar... A friend of mine at school also told me that when her mother and her stepfather(her parents are divorced) got married, she also got the surname of her stepfather, and so did i! I just want to let you know that Chris has really taken care of me, and still does, and he really loves me, so i am really glad to call him my father. Hallo ik ben Nikita Polomé. Voor als iemand informatie over mij wilt, Ik ben 10 jaar, mijn mama heet Marisa mijn papa Christophe, en ik heb een kleine zus die Alexa noemt. Inge Lecomte was een van mijn eerste vriendinnen, ze heeft nog een tijdje bij ons in Herdersem gewoond - ik ben haar gegevens kwijt - het laatste dat ik weet is dat ze indertijd naar zuid Akrika verhuisd was - kan iemand me helpen haar terug te vinden ?

Please note that there is a spelling error in Patrick Polomé's surname. He was born on the 28.06.1956. Also Yves Polomé had a daughter Nikita Polomé who was born on the 23.06.2000 in Johannesburg South Africa. My daughter Leila Polomé was born in Roodepoort South Africa and we currently living in Belgium, Anderlecht.

Ik zal mij even voorstellen. Mijn naam is Peter Zoons,woon in zaandam,nl Om met mijn vraag te beginnen ik heb op een rommel markt een mooi schilderstuk gevonden: het doek is gemaakt door Etienne-le Compte.Mijn vraag aan U is of hij Etienne le Compte is die op 04-04-1931 te Aalst geboren is? Het schrijven op de achterkant van het doek geeft aan:Etienne le Compte kasteelstraat 49 Hekelgem belgium. Hoop dat zo mijn zoektocht is opgelost.
