Man United won easily with 0-5 against Bayern Leverkusen. The Belgians Januzaj and Fellaini didn't play. Januzaj wasn't selected and was inhibited.

Man United is sure to pass to the next round.

Manchester City also their match and also pass to the next round. Kompany is still injured, but even without him the citizens won wiht 4-2.

Chelsea lost their match agains Bazel with 1-0. But they're still leader in their group and are almost sure of qualification. Hazard played but couldn't prevent the loss. He didn't play on his level.

Arsenal won with 2-0 against Marseille and a draw in the next match is enough to go to the next round.

Benteke played the whole match with Aston Villa, but he was again not able to score. They were lucky that they could fix the 2-0 standing with the break. The result was 2-2. So still a point for Benteke and his team.

And then the last game: Cardiff City-Manchester United. Our two Belgians started the game. Januzaj got changed in the second half, but big fella played the whole game. United did lose points against Cardiff, a draw isn't enough for a team like United. The result was 2-2.

Then again some Belgians were meeting each other in the competition. Simon Mignolet from Liverpool had to play against Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku from Everton. And of course they played their role in the game. Liverpool scored the first goal after 4 minutes. The man who scored the goal was Coutinho. Liverpool hadn't much time to celebrate because three minutes later, Kevin Mirallas made the 1-1. The break came with a 1-2 lead for Liverpool, thanks to Luis Suarez. After the break Mignolet had some superior saves on shots from Lukaku. But yeah he can't catch everything. Lukaku scored two times for Everton in the second half. In the last five minutes Sturridge was still able to get a point for his team. The result was 3-3.

And the last belgian game for this Saturday is West Ham-Chelsea. De Bruyne was again not selected but Hazard gave an assist to Oscar. It was an easy win for Chelsea, it became 0-3 with two goals from Lampard and one from Oscar. Hazard was changed the last five minutes.

Eden Hazard was a star during his game against West Brom, however it was only a draw 2-2. The two goals from Chelsea do exist thanks to Eden Hazard. By the first goal he takes his chance, the goalkeeper had to let go the ball and Eto'o could score. The second goal was a penalty that Hazard didn't miss. But I have to admit that the penalty was really gained, he shouldn't have given a penalty for that.

Arsenal lost his game against Man U, thanks to a goal of Van Persie. For Man U Fellaini came in the last five minutes, but Januzaj didn't play. But by the Gunners Vermaelen got his chance and played the whole game. Great news that he finally gets back his place.

Benteke won his match with 2-0 against Cardiff City, but he's still not scoring. That needs to be improved Christian.

Lukaku was also not able to score this weekend. Together with Mirallas, Everton couldn't beat Crystal Palace. It became 0-0.

Tottenham Hotspur lost from Newcastle United with 0-1. Jan Vertonghen played, like he does always, a good game, Dembele however played a very weak first half. That's the reason they changed him during the break. 

And at last Manchester City, still without the blessed Kompany, lost with 1-0 from Sunderland. That is really a bad result for Manchester City, if you know that Sunderland was last in the competition before this weekend.

Other good news is that Eden Hazard is nominated for the 'Player of the month' award for the month October in the premier league. The other players that are nominated are Sergio Aguero, Olivier Giroud, Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. We hope the best for our red devil, but honestly I think he hasn't much chance. The others played really outstanding the last games, especially Arsenal and Liverpool played great matches. I think Suarez or Giroud are the favorites for this trophy.

Better news for Manchester City, they had an easy win against CSKA Moscow. The result was 5-2. It was still without the blessed Kompany. We hope he recovers fast, because the belgian team needs him in Brazil.

But is was just a draw without goals. Not really what we were hoping for. I hope the next time Benteke and Lukaku can make a goal. Because a weekend without making goals isn't good for a real striker.

After this weekend we can resume that Thomas Vermaelen is still at the lead of the competition and that the others lost important points.

First of all: Eden Hazard lost from newcastle with 2-0 . That was a bad day for Mourinho, he was really pissed of after the match and said he made the wrong choices. Well maybe De Bruyne is just what he needs. But we all know that story.

Then a Belgian clash between Arsenal of Thomas Vermaelen and Liverpool of Simon Mignolet. The result was a loss for Big Si, Arsenal won with 2-0. However Vermaelen only played the last couple of minutes. Mignolet didn't stand a chance by the goals and he played a good game.

Benteke has forgotten how to make goals during his injury. West Ham-Aston Villa became 0-0.

In Manchester they do know how to make goals. Manchester city, without the injured Kompany, has won with 7-0 against Norwich.

And even United knew how to win, it was 1-3 on the field of fulham. Adnan Januzaj had started the game and thanked his manager with an assist for Robin Van Persie. Fellaini was a sub, but he came in during the break.

Tomorrow some more news, because Jan Vertonghen will stand against Mirallas and Lukaku. Can this tank defeat super Jan? We will see it tomorrow.
