Luister naar de complete soundtrack van 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'
Enige tijd geleden kon je al luisteren naar Howard Shore's 'Radagast The Brown', het eerste nummer van de soundtrack van Peter Jacksons The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Via de website van Rolling Stone is nu ook de gehele soundtrack te beluisteren. De soundtrack is pas enkele dagen geleden afgerond en bevat ook het nummer 'Song of the Lonely Mountain' van zanger Neil Finn, de voorman van de wereldberoemde Nieuw-Zeelandse band Crowded House.
"They were working on the soundtrack up to about 10 days ago. There's a huge amount of cues. Something would be working not quite right; they'd have to go back and re-record. There'd be notes made. I wasn't aware of the detail, of the minutiae. But I know that there is an obsessive nature that goes along with making these kinds of things, and everyone's aiming to get it to a point where it sounds like it was the easiest thing in the world", aldus Finn tegenover Rolling Stone.
