Commissioner Michelle McCool has announced that Rich Swann has been replaced by Averno in the Gold Rush tournament, due to backstage malconduct.

Also, all current points will be divided by 4, and each wrestler will have to face each other once in Gold Rush matches. At the end of the tournament, the first two wrestlers will face each other in a final match that will determine the #1 contendor for the World Heavyweight Championship.
