I'm happy that this week is over. It was such a busy week, I had a lot of schoolwork, I'm very tired. Today I had a test of chemistry and it didn't work at all, I even never been able to start my last excercise! This evening I went to Lien for an assignment for history. But we first went to the 'Job market' in the 4AD for half an hour. After that we took our bikes and rode to Lien her house. Her dog 'Wolletje' is very cute and after he stopped barking at me, we gave him Pizzacookies. I stayed late with Lien, I even had dinner there. It was very good. It was vol-au-vent and fries and lettuce and tomatoes. We've also done a lot for our assignment, it should be almost ready right now. It's an assignment about WWI and King Albert I. We already had a lot of work on it. But like I said, I'm very tired, so I think it's for the best that I'm going to sleep. Valentine x.
Tomorrow we start our examinations. I dont like this horrible period! We have exams of our main subjects. My main subjects are Dutch, French, physic and math. I hope I do well with my exams. Lien_
Yesterday morning we had our last examinations. In the afternoon I went with Valentine, Lisa, Charlotte and Evy to Gent. We made a lot of fun. Regrettable Valentine must go home at 6 oclock. I and the others stayed in Gent. We ate a spaghetti and chatted in a pub. Then we slept in the student room of Lisa her cousin. The next morning we returned home.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I did a vacation job in the "Chillout", a clothing shop in Nieuwpoort. It was the first time that I worked as a shop assistant. It was a new experience.
Friday evening, I and some friends looked at Pinoccio. I found that the actors played very well! After the show we had some drink.
Today, I went to Roeselare, there I looked with some friends at the movie "knowing". It was a thriller and sometimes I was scared. It was a beautiful movie but the end was disappointing. After the movie we walked in the shopping street.
My grandparents visited us today because it's Easter. And Easter means ... a lot of chocolate! My grandmother and grandfather are still our Easter bunny, because we got a lof of chocolate eggs and other presents of them. It was a comfortable day and we talked and ate a lot!
Monday afternoon I tidied the house and helped my mum with making dinner. Because in the evening my aunt, my uncle and my cousin visited us for my birthday. It was a late "birthday party". We ate eel and as dessert it was chocolate mousse. We used a new recipe and the chocolate mousse was delicious!
On Tuesday it was beautiful weather. I walked with my dog Wolletje and I idled in the sun.
The next day, I, my mum and dad shopped in the Ikea and in the Makro. But we didnt buy something special.
Because its almost summer, I needed new clothes. So, I and my mum decided to go shopping on Thursday in Oostende. There we bought shoes, a sweater, a jeans and a skirt for me. My mum bought T-shirts, sweaters and sandals.
Friday I worked a lot for school. Because next week we have a great test of biology. Also I visited my grandparents.
Yesterday evening I went out to a party, the "Girls night on the beach". The ground was covered with sand and there was also a swimming pool. But I didnt swim.
Today I slept long. In the afternoon Tine and I interviewed a madam who is derived from Sri Lanka.
On the one side I find it regrettable that the holiday is past but on the other side I would back to school for see my friends that I didnt see during the holiday!
