Did you know that caviar is one of the most expensive food products you can buy, it are small fish eggs of the sturgeon and the name caviar is derivated from the Persian word khag-avar, it is also a delicatesse that is why people pay so much money for it. Caviar is originated from Egypt but then later Russians started to eat it and in Russia it was a product for the rich but in Europe it was food for the farmers. Nowadays the caviar production is endangered because the kaspic sea level is descending half a meter a year but scientists are trying to breed the sturgeon.
