I am 32 years old, without a job and recently single again but I have a pretty good idea what I wanna do with my life...
The last week I repeatedly stumbled over the same subject, in movies, series, magazines, Internet... so I figured that it must be a sign...
Lists, all kind of lists that people should do before they die, should do when they become single in their thirties, should do to feel alive, should do because it's fun....
So I decided to make a list of my own : 50 things I am going to do before I turn 39 (I found that 40 was to predictable)
I'm gonna do them and blog about it all the way, how I organised it, how I did it, how I felt afterwards...
I hope you join me in my journey and that you'll have fun following me in my new adventures.
Here they are:
1. Find 50 things to do, realise at least one of them in the first month, 5 of them in the next year and all of them before I turn 39.
2. Set foot on each of the seven continents. Antarctica might seem a hard one but once I've reached all seven I'll can truly say that I am a world traveller!
3. find myself a job that is exciting and pays lots of money (so that I can reach the other 49 goals)
4. Get myself a nice white car with lots of fun options
5. Go to the airport and get a ticket for one of the next ten flights
6. Create or find my own constellation of stars and name it after me
7. travel alone for at least a week
8. become pentaglot (know five languages) and then learn a foreign language a bit out of the ordinary
9. Get really drunk
10. milk a cow
11. Steal a sign
12. Find out about my ancestors
13. Swim naked at midnight
14. Spend Christmas or new year's eve with an association for homeless
15. make a road trip
16. attend to Mardi Gras and get lots of pearls
17. so a nude photoshoot
18. help an animal gave birth
19. get a tattoo
20. crash a party
21. see the northern lights
22. buy everyone in the pub a drink
23. travel a continent by train
24. throw a huge party with no reason
25. be an extra in a movie
26. attend a music festival in another country
27. ask for a raise
28. plant a tree
29. watch the launch of a space shuttle
30. attend to the Carnival in Brazil and try to be in the parade
31. write my will
32. spend Christmas in an exotic location
33. Visit the gravestone of a cultural icon I admire
34. Participate in Thailand's New Year's water fights festivities in Songkran
35. Go to a movie drive in and make out
36. meet my favourite writer
37. Go to Las Vegas
38. Make a cruise
39. Make cookies from scratch
40. Live in another country for at least a month
41. Play darts on the World Map and go wherever the darts tell you to go
42. Kiss in the rain
43. Start my own business
44. Ride a gondola in Venice
45. Follow a band on tour
46. Fly over New York in a helicopter
47. Send a message in a bottle
48. Watch wild whales
49. Have sex with an ex, No Strings Attached
50. Publish an article about my experience in a paper
