Controversies about southpark

Southpark has faced numerous controversies. It often uses what many people find to be taboo subject matter, from its use of vulgarity to its satire of subjects such as religion and cults, sexuality, tolerance and natural disaster hysteria.

For example: In the episode "It hits the fan", the word 'shit' was said a total of 162 times uncensored. Alson in the episode entitled "With apologies to Jesse Jackson", the racial word 'nigger' was used throughout the entire episode for a total of 42 times!
In 2005, some catholic organisations protested the season finale episode, "Bloody Mary", for its depiction of a statue of the Virgin Mary bleeding from her vagina.
