    Hello dear pupils, :-D

Here's my blog, created for your pleasure and comfort. Use it to get in touch with me, to find links to interesting websites, to communicate with each other ... about English class, of course.

    Free Online English:
Use the links on this page to find websites that will help you with your lessons and tasks or find specific exercises by googling. Online grammar exercises are very interesting as you can check your answers immediately and find clear explanations!

Find clear, easy-to-understand English definitions via 'onelook': depending on the word you’re looking for, you’ll get links to more or less 20 dictionaries. You can also try to find translations, but as far as I know, there are no good, easy and complete free Dutch-English or English-Dutch dictionaries. Better pay for a paper dictionary with CD-rom or an online version. Let me know if you find an interesting free one.

There are plenty of free e-books to be found on the net. Mostly classics of over 50 years old, written by Shakespeare, Dickens, Woolf, Golding, Lewis, Austen and many many more. Even if you don’t feel able to read a complete book on the screen, you can get a taste of it by reading the first chapter before buying or borrowing it. Google ebook + (name author) or etext+ (name author) or ebook + (book title) to see if you can find a specific book on the net. If you don’t have an author in mind, go directly to the e-book links.

Please let me know if you find other interesting sites. Enjoy this blog and use it to your advantage!
