Start by going to the champion guild (south west of Varrock) and speak to the guild master. Ask her about a rune plate mail and she will tell you about a friend that may sell one for you.
Oziach:
You will need to go to Oziach. He lives just east of Edgevill in a small house. If you got trouble finding him use this map for his exact location. (Red dot)
Talk to him and he will say that you are not worthy for a rune plate mail just yet. You can prove yourselves by killing a dragon on Crandor Isle. There was a map to Crandor but it was split in 3 pieces so you'll need to find them all. Oziach will also give you a key to get inside Melzar's maze.
Map piece 2
Let begin with the easy map piece first. Bring the Silk, Wizard's Mind Bomb, Lobster Pot and Unfired Bowl with you and go to the ice mountain.
Search on the Ice Mountain until you find the Oracle. Ask about the map piece and he will tell you a riddle. You will need to bring the items to the dwarven mine just south of the Ice Mountain. Get inside and then take the second turn to the scorpions. Here you will find a chamber with a door. If you got all the items you should be able to get in. Look in the chest to find a map piece.
Map piece 1
Was that a bit boring for you? Well this is going to be a bit harder. Take good food, the key that Oziach gave you and of course a weapon with you and go to Melzar's maze. (North West of Rimmington)
Get inside and you will find yourself in a room with giant rats (lvl 6). Kill the rats until one of them drop a red key. Take the door in the Northwest corner and then use the ladder to get in a room with ghosts. Kill the ghosts (lvl 19) until they drop an orange key. Take the second door from the left and go up the ladder. Now you'll be in a room with skeletons (lvl 25). Kill them until they drop a yellow key and take the most southwest door. Now go through the corridor until you see a ladder and go down. Now you'll need to kill Zombies (lvl 24) and get a blue key.
Go through the most northern door which will lead into a room with Melzar the Mad (lvl 43) He will talk to you and then kill him to obtain a Magenta key. Go through the door that will lead into the lesser demon (82) and kill it to obtain a green key. Go through the last door open the chest and search it to get another map piece! Now to get out by teleport or just go down the ladder next to the chest. And keep going down until you are in the room with the rat's again.
Note: you can bring a strong friend with you for safety.
Note: if you die in the maze just get a new key at Oziach.
Map piece 3
This map piece is actually really easy to get if you got 10.000 gp. If you don't, get some runes to kill an lvl 2 monster and runes for the telekinetic grab trick. Go to Port Sarim and then to the jail (south of Port Sarim) go to worm brain (lvl 2) and
1. Talk to him and pay him 10.000 gp for the map piece 2. Kill him with range and then telegrab the map piece
Getting a anti fire breath shield
Without a anti fire breathe shield you will not make much chance of winning from a dragon. So go to Lumbrige castle and take the ladder up to the Duke and ask one from him.
Getting a boat
Well without a boat you won't get to Crandor isle. Now go to Port Sarim and find Klarense on the docks.
Ask him to buy his boat at pay him 2k. You will now be the proud owner of the Lady Lumbrige! But the boat has a big hole so you must repair it.
You will need 90 steel nails (made out of 6 steel bars)
3 planks (found in lvl 19 wilderness around the graveyard just walk north from Varrock until you come to an altar and then walk North West from it until you see a graveyard)
And a Hammer (bought from any general store)
Get inside the boat and use the planks with the hole to fix the boat.
Go to Draynor and use the map pieces together to make one big map. Then talk to Ned the fisherman and ask him if he wants to sail to Crandor with you. So you are now ready to go.
What you will need to bring with you
Anti fire breathe shield Good armor A good 1 handed sword (so can wear your anti fire breath shield) Lots of Lobsters or any other good food
Getting to Crandor Isle
Go to your boat and take off. You will crash in the rocks and you wont get back anymore from that way. You need to get into the dungeon so make your way to the north and then get into the middle of the Isle where you can get into the dungeon. (watch out for the high lvl monster on the Isle!) You will now be in Karamja Volcano dungeon. You will see some pretty BIG skeletons so go a bit south and get into the dragon lair.
Elvarg the Dragon
Try to make the first hit and then keep attacking him until you get low hitpoints (don't panic) Just run away from him and heal yourselves and then attack him again. He won't hit more than 12 on people with 45 defenses but just use the same tactic over and over again and you will win.
