                                                                                                               ultimate moneymaking guide

This is for quick cash. First you need about 200k, and then buy 1000 Dark kebbit fur from the grand exchange, and just make gloves of silence for 500gp profit each glove at the Fancy Dress Shop in Varrock. Bank the gloves and repeat.

Buy mithril seeds for 294 coins (or 300 coins from the Legends Guild) and plant them anywhere on the ground. The seeds produce different varieties of flowers, including red (2,165 coins each), black (9,578 coins each), and white (27,500 coins each).

Buy pairs of climbing boots from Tenzing for 12 coins each and sell them on the Grand Exchange for 667 coins each.

    thieving

Level 44 Players can steal cave goblin wires from the wire machine in the south-west side of Dorgesh-Kaan, just east of the furnace. The cave goblin wires can yield 797 coins for each one on the GE. The machine resets every 4–5 seconds. You should take food with you because you will take 5 damage each time you fail and you should expect to take at least 50 or 60 damage per trip. Tuna works well because selling one cave goblin wire on the GE will make up for the cost of the tuna for each trip, but sardines and mackerel are cheaper and therefore more efficient and require a full inventory. The use of a Beast of Burden will cut down in bank trips, but there is no Summoning Obelisk to recharge your points within the city. Gloves of silence will not increase your chances of success.

Level 70+ Paladins, Heroes, Gnomes, and elves are all a rewarding people to pick pocket, with rewards varying from coins (80 to 350 coins a pickpocket) to diamonds which can be sold uncut over the Grand Exchange for 8,293 or crafted and enchanted.

    hunter

Level 1 Track Polar kebbits at the polar hunting area. Their furs sell for about 2,019 coins each. Using the fairy ring system can greatly reduce banking time, as there is a nearby fairy ring in the area and a bank in Zanaris.

Level 55 Players can trap Sabre-toothed kyatts at the Trollweiss Hunter area. Their fur sells for about 5,484 coins each.Keep in mind, tatty fur's are only worth 65 coins each, this makes it a lot slower.

Level 83 Catch Dragon implings, at the Impetuous Impulses minigame or throughout RuneScape. They are exceedingly rare, even in Puro-Puro, but are also extremely valuable, with each impling being worth about 300,000 coins each.

    Fletching

Level 39 Once the player has reached this level and has at least 5000 gp to invest, they can combine training and moneymaking by finishing unfinished iron bolts bought on the grand exchange and selling the finished bolts for around 10-50 gp more each. Since feathers, the only other requirement to finish bolts, cost around 5 gp each on the Grand Exchange, and there's nearly always unfinished bolts for sale and buyers for finished bolts, you quickly get money! Unfinished bolts, bolts, and feathers all stack, so there are no worries about running out of inventory space, however you cannot fletch multiple sets at once like arrows, and may take some time if you are fletching large batches of bolts. After each sale of finished bolts, you can buy quite a bit more unfinished bolts than each previous buy, so the amount of bolts and profit you make increases exponentially with each iteration of the process. Higher level fletchers may do the same process with higher level bolts, although supplies of unfinished bolts and demand for finished dwindles. Note that bronze bolts are unsuited for this as unfinished bolts cost 5 - 10 more per bolt than finished bolts.

Level 58 Once the player has reached this level, buy as many cut emeralds as possible in the Grand Exchange for market price. Use a chisel with the cut emeralds and make them into boltheads which sell for around 83 gp each. Using this method, you make roughly 134 gp per emerald you cut. This is very time consuming but there are always emeralds selling in the Grand Exchange and emerald bolt heads are in a moderate demand. You can normally make around 110-200k per hour. You can also attach these to mithril bolts and gain even more xp with a slight amount of lost money. This allows for faster Training

Note** You should have at least 150k to do this most efficiently.

Level 70 Yew longbows are in constant demand by players training magic through the high alchemy spell. Yew longbows can be sold for about 689 coins each, or High Alchemy can be cast on them to get 768 coins each. If the player has 60+ woodcutting, 55+ magic, 10+ crafting, and 70+ fletching, the player can wood-cut yew logs, make bowstrings, make the yew longbows, and cast high alchemy on them and get basically free xp in many skills and still make money

Level 71 Dragonstone bolts: If you buy dragonstone cut gems, rune bolts, then cut and attach to form dragonstone tip bolts you can make 3k per dragonstone. This is only for the patient people as it can take awhile to buy and sell these items. You'll need a few million gp to use this method effectively.

Level 85 Magic longbows are also in fairly high demand for casting high alchemy on in order to train magic. Magic longbows can be sold for about 1,447 coins each, or High Alchemy can be cast on them to get 1536 coins each. If the player has 75+ woodcutting, 55+ magic, 10+ crafting, and 85+ fletching, the player can wood cut magic logs, make bowstrings, make the magic longbows, and cast high alchemy on them and get basically free xp in many skills and still make money.

    Herbalism

Level 3 You may make unfinished (unf) potions by only adding the herb into a vial of water and selling it without adding the second ingredient, since players buy unfinished potions for a higher price than the vial plus a clean or grimy herb together. Be aware that most players would find this method tedious and frustrating as it takes a lot of time, but this method is a relatively unknown way of making money. See the unfinished potion calculator for the current cost/profit ratio.

Level 38 Once level 38, making prayer potions is a great way to make money using herblore, however, obtaining the herbs necessary can be a hassle. Players can either get ranarrs from monster drops, buy them (not really recommended), or if they have level 32 farming, grow them. All of these methods will either take lots of time and/or reduce profits. Collect snape grass from the Hobgoblin point near the Crafting Guild or Waterbirth Island (Crafting guild peninsula has a very fast respawn time, Waterbirth can be used if you have Sea Boots 1 and can use Peer's bank service), and make sure to decant the potions into four-dose potions first, which sell for 10k each at current (5-8-09) prices.

    Fishing

Level 40 Fishing lobsters is a very popular way to make money for free-to-play players. The only free-to-play spots at which to catch lobsters are a fishing spot on Karamja and in the Wilderness. The Karamja fishing spot is much more popular than the spots in the Wilderness, though banks are far away for either spot. Raw lobsters sell for around 325 coins each, and cooked lobsters sell for about 273 coins each. Lobsters also give 90 experience when caught, so you can level very quickly from 40 with lobsters. However, they can take time to catch, so be patient. An explorer's ring allows for faster trips as you can teleport to Draynor Village after you catch an inventory full instead of walking back.

Level 50 At this level Swordfish can be caught and sold for 467 when cooked and 495 when uncooked. Tuna, however, is caught with them.

    Level 62

Monkfish are found at the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. They tend to be caught faster than sharks, even at high levels, and sell for around 385 coins each when raw, and about 331 coins when cooked. In an hour, you can catch about 250-320 monkfish, depending on your Fishing level.(See Money making guide/Fishing/Monkfish for more info)

Level 65 At this level you can fish karambwan, which are worth 631 coins each. Keep in mind that the karambwan will sometimes steal the bait from the vessel. If this happens often, it could lower your profit.

    Level 76

At this level, you can fish sharks. Sharks are caught fairly slowly even at high levels, so it is advisable not to fish them with a fishing level lower than about 80. Raw sharks sell for around 959 coins each, and cooked sharks fetch for about 915 coins each. At 95+ Fishing you can get around 1,000 sharks in 7 hours or less; however, on average, only about 150 sharks can be caught in an hour, even with 99 fishing.

    Level 81+

Players can attempt the Fishing Trawler minigame. If the boat manages to last for 10 minutes without sinking, players and their teammates can get very valuable fish such as manta rays and/or sea turtles. Unlike other fish, cooked sea turtles and manta rays fetch higher prices then their raw counterparts. Cooked manta rays can sell for about 1,896 coins each while cooked sea turtles sell for about 1,441 coins.

    Mining

Level 40 Mining gold (crafting guild)

Mining at the Crafting Guild is the best because it has seven rocks, so mining goes quicker.

Level 60 Mining coal (Mining Guild)

Once you can enter the Mining Guild, coal mining speeds up noticeably as there are many coal rocks inside the Guild and the Guild is very close to the eastern bank in Falador.

    Level 85 Mining runite

Runite ore is the most expensive ore in the game, at 15,200 coins each. It is only found in a few locations, including a few rocks in deep Wilderness. This is the only runite location available to free players. The amount of time it takes runite to respawn is dependent on world population; it will spawn quicker on more-populated worlds. Most players who mine runite tend to switch worlds rather than wait for the ore to respawn.

    Money/ore amount scale:

    15 Runite ore= 228000 coins.

    28 Runite ore= 425600 coins.

    50 Runite ore= 760000 coins.

    Woodcutting

Level 60+ Yew logs sell for 447 coins each, and are almost always in high demand by players training Fletching and Magic. Take note, however, that yew logs may be slow to cut at first until you achieve a higher Woodcutting level.

Level 75+ Yes Magic logs can now be cut and sold for around 1,310 coins each. Note that magic logs are very slow to cut, no matter what hatchet is used and will cut at near the same rate whether you are level 75 or 99 Woodcutting. Therefore, it's recommended that you cut them with a dragon hatchet as they have the highest chopping rate. Though slow, cutting magic logs can still be an effective way to make money.

magic logs are almost always in high demand by players training Fletching. Take note, however, that magic logs will be slow to cut at first until you achieve around 90 Woodcutting.A few magic trees are close to banks, there are some magic trees at sourcers tower (4), some scattered around tree gnome stronghold (3), East of the Ranging Guild (3), Surrounding the Mage Training Arena (2), The south-east area of Isafdar (3). you can make ~36k in a medium 15 - 30 minutes, while barely ever looking at the screen! There may be more magic trees right next to Fairy rings, please edit this page and add them if you find them!

    Magic

Level 25-58+ Yes Teletabs can be made and sold for both magic experience and profit, provided you have access to a lectern. The different teletabs you can make depends on your Magic level and the type of lectern you use. Assuming all materials are purchased (including runes and soft clay), each teletab gives the following profit: Varrock Teleport (292 coins), Lumbridge Teleport (319 coins) Falador Teleport (363 coins), Camelot Teleport (279 coins), Ardougne Teleport (240 coins), Watchtower Teleport (174 coins), and House Teleport (370 coins). In general, it is possible to craft about 900 teletabs per hour if a butler is helping you.

Level 33+ Yes The Mage Training Arena is a decent place at which to train Magic for profit. Though cost of runes to earn points may seem high, infinity robes sell for high amounts of coins, ultimately resulting in profit. The best things to buy are the infinity boots and the mage's book.

Level 56-66 Yes You can use a Charge Orb spell to enchant unpowered orbs. , Fire and earth orbs are not as in demand as air orb and waters and may take longer to sell. Each round trip to the air obelisk should take about 4 minutes. If you are using 27 orbs and 81 cosmic runes this will gain you 2,052 Magic experience per run, along with over 10,000 coins profit assuming you bought the runes and orbs. This method of money making is highly underutilized, most likely in part due to so many players being unaware of the ease of the process or the demand for the finished product.

    Combined skills

    30 Woodcutting

35 Fletching (40 is even better)

    Knife

Hatchet : Cut willows west of Catherby. Fletch into Willow shortbows or longbows. Sell to Arhein (General Store).

    23 Thieving

    55 Magic

Death to the Dorgeshuun Yes You can pickpocket H.A.M. guards in their hideout. The guards may yield metal keys that you can use on various chests in the hideout. From these chests you can obtain gems and jewelry. By alching these you can make a decent profit, though it is not recommended to alch plain gold jewelry. Bring an adequate amount of food, as you may be hurt by the guards.

    60+ Farming

    80 Summoning

60+ Woodcutting Yes If you grow yew or magic trees in a farming patch and chop them down for logs, then use the Hydra's special ability (which instantly regenerates a tree chopped in a farming patch), you can constantly re-cut the same tree and sell the logs. Yew logs sell for 447 coins each and magic logs sell for 1,313 coins each.

    Combat

Level 20 Chaos druids drop grimy herbs very frequently, including ranarr, which is worth 7,602 coins. They also drop other herbs like kwuarm and dwarf weed, along with law runes in quantities of two. Chaos druids can be found in Taverley Dungeon, the Wilderness section of Edgeville Dungeon, Yanille Agility Dungeon, and the Chaos Druid Tower.

Level 20 Kill the white unicorns east of Seers' Village, south of Edgeville, or Entrana (no weapons or armour allowed) for their horns. The horns sell for around 914 coins each in the Grand Exchange. Black unicorns, found in level 14 Wilderness or near Rellekka, also drop unicorn horns.

Level 20 In PvP worlds, you can fight other players and try to earn the best drops, which go for many millions of coins. Lower levels can also gather bones from PvP worlds and sell them for 70 each. This is not recommended for higher levels as the higher your level, the greater chance of being attacked. If you are PvPing for drops, you must risk at least 25,000 coins worth of items (75,000 coins for members), not including protected items.

Level 35 Hill giants in the Edgeville Dungeon are a common training/money making monster, as they drop big bones, which sell for around 347 coins each. They occasionally drop limpwurt roots, which sell for about 1,166 coins each. Hill giants also have low Defence so they are not difficult to kill.

Level 40 Players can kill flesh crawlers for herbs, coins, runes, etc. Only a little food is required if you have a high Defence, as flesh crawlers have a maximum hit of 1.

Level 50 Better locations for killing moss giants for their drops can be found on members servers. The small island directly west of Brimhaven, while requiring 10 Agility to access, has five moss giants and is rarely occupied. Moss giants can also be found North-west of Ardougne, in the Chaos Tunnels, and in Brimhaven Dungeon. Moss giants are very good for experience and commonly drop seeds, including ranarr seeds which are worth around 33,500 coins each, and watermelon seeds, which are worth about 3,467 coins. They also drop items including gems, black square shields, herbs and mithril weaponry.

Level 50 Killing jungle spiders can be an excellent money maker for some players. With the release of the summoning skill demand for spider carcasses has sky-rocketed, causing the price rise to roughly 875gp each! With higher defence levels food becomes unneeded and a full inventory (28) can yield up to 24220gp. Hazelmere's peninsula is commonly regarded as the best place to harvest spiders due to it's closeness to the fairy ring C-L-S.

Level 50 Kill moss giants in Varrock sewers. They have several good drops, including gems and big bones. This area may be less crowded on PvP worlds, but if you play on one of these worlds, watch out for player killers. If you've completed Dragon Slayer you can also fight the moss giants on Crandor Isle.

    level 50

88+ is Easier Zogres and Skogres can be killed south of castle wars. There are many safe spots behind rock walls and coffins. They 100% drop Zogre bones and Ogre coffin key. The keys can be used on the coffins to get added rewards. The coffins can give you more Zogre Bones, Raurg bones Fayrg bones and Ourg bones. It is normally a good idea to drop the non-bone items from coffins as they are less cost effective. Ranged is generally used and you must use Brutal arrows. Melee weapons are useless. mage can be used as Crumble Undead spell but the max hit is halved. For players under combat level 88, Relicym's balm is advised.

Level 60 (With 65+ ranged or magic) Level 90 (Melee) Killing Metal dragons can be very profitable if you are lucky, as they drop valuable items such as the dragon platelegs and most valuable draconic visage, although these drops are very rare. Killing them with range or magic with an anti-dragon shield and antifire potions are needed for a long stay. If you prefer to melee, use protect from melee and bring prayer potions an anti-dragon shield and antifire potions .

Level 70+ In the God Wars Dungeon, if you put on an item from each god (Saradomin, Zamorak, Armadyl and Bandos), then you will not be attacked. Then you only have to cause 1 Hitpoint of damage to a monster that is fighting another monster and you will get the drop. Note: The bosses and bodyguards will still attack you regardless of what you are wearing.

Level 70+ In the swamp area east of Sophanem, kill scabarites for drops. They drop rune warhammers, loop half of a key, and tooth half of a key very frequently compared to some NPC's, which sell for 28k, 12k, and 87k respectively. They also have a frequent drop of uncut gems and high level herbs, which sell for a few thousand gp. Note: Investment is required from players, which is purchasing cannonballs, as a dwarf multicannon is a necessity, as it is a multicombat area. It is possible to double the money you paid for the cannonballs in a very short space of time. This is high risk if your defence level is low, more food will be needed according to defence level

Level 70 Kill icefiends on the top of Ice Mountain. Icefiends commonly drop water talismans which can sell for 3,404 coins each. Icefiends hit unusually high for their level, so bring some good food.

Level 70 Killing green dragons is a very common and effective way to make money. Each dragon always drops green dragonhides and dragon bones, which sell for 1,684 coins 2,353 coins each respectively. This makes each green dragon worth at least 4037 coins. Green dragons are found mainly in the Wilderness so beware of revenants when hunting them. A few can also be found in the Chaos Tunnels, although this is a multicombat area so take care. A games necklace provides quick access to a large group of green dragons just east of Clan Wars in level 20-24 Wilderness.

    Level 70 (group)

Level 85 (solo) (it is possible to be 65 members but you need dragon)  Cockroach soldiers can be killed in the Stronghold of Player Safety for the valuable items they drop, including various rune items. These can be sold or converted into coins through High Level Alchemy. This is a very good profit for free-players but not recommended for members around this level, as better alternatives are available.

Level 80 Killing Zamorak warriors, in the Chaos Tunnels, can bring a good profit. Zamorak warriors drop rune scimitars fairly often, which sell for 31,500 coins each. They also drop rune daggers which can be sold for about 4,655 coins each, or high alched for 4,800 coins. Strong armour and good food is advised as the Chaos Tunnels are a multicombat area.

Level 80 Killing aviansies in the God Wars Dungeon - especially in Armadyl's Eyrie - can make very good money, as aviansies drop 4 noted adamantite bars very commonly, which are worth 9164 coins in total. This method can be used to easily make 300k+ in an hour with only the minimum requirements. However, aviansies must be Ranged or Maged and can hit fairly hard. Fighting them at a distance with the Protect from Ranged prayer is recommended, as well as wearing equipment to protect from the God's minions. See this guide for more information.

Level 80 With food or 100 without At the Bandos Throne room, you can kill the statues for drops. You usually get about 1-4 24,100 Granite maces per trip, and it is suggested to high alch them because the Grand Exchange price is exactly the same price then high alching. They also drop cut gems (A lot of diamonds (5-6k) (extremely common), mithril and adamant maces (common), dust runes (common), Earth Battlestaffs (fairly common), and Mystic earth staffs (probably about 1-2 per trip).

Level 90 Rewards from the Barrows minigame include valuable runes, bolt racks and Barrows equipment. Pieces of Barrows equipment can sell for anywhere between around 50,000 coins to 4,100,000 coins a piece.

Level 90 Vyrewatches will always drop vyre corpses when killed. Burn these for valuable rewards, such as herbs, seeds, trimmed metal armour (ornamental armour), various rune/adamant armour/weapons, black dragonhide sets, etc. After burning about 200 corpses you could make in excess of 500k or even 2 million. You also get Firemaking and Prayer experience for burning the corpses. The only way to kill a vyrewatch is with the Ivandis Flail obtained during Legacy of Seergaze.

Level 90 Blue dragons can be killed in much the same manner as green dragons. They always drop blue dragonhide (worth about 2,087 coins) and dragon bones. Ranging, Maging or using a halberd in safe spots is common, though some higher level players may Melee them face-to-face. The Ogre Enclave (requires Watchtower quest completed) and Taverley Dungeon (70+ Agility recommended for shortcut) are two of the most popular places to kill blue dragons. Due to the dragons' high Defence and Hitpoints, a high Ranged and/or combat level is recommended.

Level 90 Ankous, on the fourth level of the Stronghold of Security, drop many stackable items such as death runes, blood runes, noted pure essence and noted mithril ore, as well as dropping battlestaves worth 8,200 coins each. It is also possible to safe-spot with Ranged, Magic or a halberd, which is highly recommended for lower-level players. Extremely recommended to bring a Salve amulet for more exp and faster killing. 04-06-2009 om 20:41 geschreven door Mod anneke32
