How can I use RSS Feeds?
To use RSS Feeds, you will need to have a newsreader (view list of newsreaders). This is a piece of software that provides a real-time interface of the feeds of your choice. There are many different versions and most of them are web-based.
How do I get started?
Depending on the choice of your newsreader, you have two options:
Option 1: I want to use a web-newsreader:
- Check on the index page above, to see if the newsreader of your choice has 'one-click' access. (For example:

- If you don't see your service listed, right-click on the orange RSS feed icon
of the feed you are interested in and select "copy link location".
(Using a Mac? Click and hold or control-click instead of
right-clicking.) Go to your newsreader of choice, paste the copied link
into the relevant spot and you're set!
Option 2: I want to use my browser as a Newsreader:
Some current browsers allow you to add and read RSS Feeds.
- Choose your newsfeed from the index page above. Left-click on the orange "RSS feed icon" of the feed you are interested in. If your browser is set up to handle RSS Feeds, you will now be guided through the set up.
