The short experimental film “Weinen / A Tribute to Glenn Gould” by Roger Vossenaar shows a sensitive woman who is moved by the music of J.S. Bach especially by the Aria from the Goldbergvariations played by the eccentric pianist Glenn Gould which makes her think of an unpleasant moment in her life. The movie also refers to Bach’s cantata “Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen” and to the painting “The Scream” of the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch.
